We chose this hotel due to its location in Chania and it didn’t disappoint. The views from our balcony were superb! We stayed in a classic double sea view room. Warning - the room wasn’t the largest and we did find it difficult to store luggage in it. The balcony was wonderful but also cramped. The shower had very weak water pressure but the toiletries were nice. Breakfast was part of the deal and food and food choices were great. Very fresh, local ingredients. The morning team working breakfasts were an interesting bunch. One in particular didn’t seem to enjoy his job, and it showed in his lack of enthusiasm! One of the evening guys wasn’t much better. There seemed a detached arrogance about them. On our penultimate day our cleaner decided we didn’t need any more toilet paper so that was disappointing and interesting! When staying here understand you are paying a premium for the location. Rooms may be small. If you receive ok service you are doing well.

Kauniilla ja rauhallisella paikalla Haniassa. Lyhyt kävely vanhaan kaupunkiin. Vanhan hotellin tunnelma, mutta kauniisti modernisoitu. Ainoa miinus, huone pieni. Yksin matkustavana loistava! Todella siisti ja puhdas. Upeat maisemat jos onnistuu saamaan näköalan merelle😍
Ystävällistä palvelua. Täysi suositus!

We stayed twice at the hotel and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was excellent - clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Eating breakfast overlooking the harbour was a joy. There is a great view from the rooms with a balcony overlooking the harbour so you can watch the harbour wake up in the morning to seeing life bustling past during the evening. At night though the rooms were still quiet so no concern with noise. From google maps you can see the hotel is located in the outer part of the old town, but the walk to the main centre is relatively short and there are plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby anyway. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great stay in Chania. Hotel is perfect location for exploring Chania Town. They also have a small parking lot which helped when renting a car. Breakfast was lovely each morning and we would always end our night in the bar with an after dinner cocktail. Bartenders were pleasant and interactive. Definitely would return.

We had a wonderful time at Porto Veneziano Hotel where we stayed for 5 days and 4 nights from August 30th to September 3rd. We were in a very spacious room with the water view, close to a beach, access to many restaurants and bars.. Bed and pillows are very comfortable which is a very important factor for us. Property is clean and staff are very helpful and kind. A special thanks to Viota for all her tips and suggestions where to go eat and visit. We would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Chania, Crete.

The best hotel we have stayed at in Crete (over the years we have visited Crete for over 30 weeks, since 1999). The downside was the restaurant (lunch and breakfast). The hotel staff were very professional, and the room was modernly furnished and had a great view.
