Mahua Tola Tadoba

I am visiting tadoba after almost 4 years. I have come back to stay at the same forest property. I personally love it. Manager Mr Sharad tiwari and his staff were efficient set of crew ,who took care of our needs and left no stone unturned. Even when we arrived at 2pm in the morning Mr Sharad made sure we have a warm welcome and food was ready and served . It was well appreciated by us at that odd time 😊 Food was excellent. Service was prompt . Dipesh parihar and Manish Kumar were the front face. Extremely polite and professional. The above was monitored by Mr Sharad Tiwari ..(manager). Mr Sharad Tiwari has been personally involved in looking after the guests. Rooms were well maintained. Clean. Up keep of the place can still improve bit by bit. The property is surrounded by 6 safari gates at close proximity. Thank you mahua tola for wonderful experience.

The hotel is located in forests. There are lots of forests gates near some of them are Bellara, Alizanza , kollara ect.And all of the staff are co-operative with the guests and tourists and all are served well and all the services are provided quickly for you. And also the food is excellent and too served quickly. And also spacious bed, clean pillow and blanket. And when ever you come from outside you will get a handkerchief filled with facewash which will make you alot refreshing.Mr. Tiwari manger is very good. Swapnil and Nilesh all treat you with utmost hospitality... Lovely experience because of our best manager Mr. Tiwari

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Rooms are spacious and AC works great which is important in this hot area. Rooms are spacious and there is plenty of hot water. Food is terrific. All staff very nice and helpful though they don’t speak English. Manager is wonderful and speaks fluent English. Lovely place to stay when visiting Tadoba Anhari Tiger Reserve.

Just a few days before the start of my year-end holidays, I started exploring stay options in Tadoba. Now, Tadoba itself is huge! almost as big as the entire city of Hyderabad. This being my first Safari experience, I started reading about the various gates, busy gates, stay options etc. and just when it was 4 days to go, I called up Mahua Tola. My first conversation was with Radheshyam Singh and it was an absolute delight to talk to him. Firstly, he understood my requirements of a joint family room, family members, safari needs, and ultimately gave me an amazing deal. He also arranged the Safaris per my need, one from Bellara gate, and the other from Sirkada gate. The local contact at the property is Laxmikant Shukla ji. Now, believe me when I say this, he is not just a Manager of the property, but is actually a very experienced forest ***, and very well respected by the guides and forest authorities in Tadoba. He and his staff ensured that we were well fed and well looked after. The other person I’d like to mention in my review is Prashanth. He took care of almost all our needs from food to housekeeping. The resort itself is neat and well maintained. Despite it being in a forest area, there are no insects in the room. The family room has two attached rooms and two washrooms. The sink also has hot water flowing in making it easier and quicker for everyone to get ready. Cellular network is a little low (Airtel and Vodafone didn’t work in most places), and wifi is only available at the reception. The pool is huge, and the ground is amazing! The last 3 KMs of the approach to the hotel is through farms and unpaved (non-existent) road but that isn’t too much of a problem; its all a part of the experience. Couple of things that they can improve on is the cleanliness of the upholstery in the room. The curtains seem to be soiled, the mat is the room was extremely dirty and sofa had multiple stains. The bedsheet was also dirty, but the staff changed it when we complained and it was all good thereafter. A little more attention to room cleanliness and there wouldn’t be even the slightest of issues, however, over, this is a lovely place to stay with family and the staff surely goes out of their way to make things pleasurable for you. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Bonfire, evening snacks, everything is just mouthwatering.

The resort is located in buffer Zone surrounded with full of jungle them.Its Haritage property of 12 Rooms .Food quantity is excellent,as well services.staff is very friendly & polit specially Chef Vaibhav,Maneesh,Rakesh,Ganesh chaudhary &Nilesh you should visit this place.

Beyond Stay Mahua Tola was a very good experience for us. From the beginning of booking multiple people were in touch with us regarding all small queries. Stay was comfortable, food was nice, staff was very attentive and caring. They ensured that our safaris were on time and took care of all needs including tiffin, water etc. for safaris in a very prompt manner. We had booked 4 safaris through them at Kolara, Madnapur and Shirkheda gates. We had tiger sightings in 3 safaris with best one being at Shirkheda. Mr. Sharad Tiwari, manager of the place, was very attentive to the needs of all residents and personally made sure even our small issues were taken care of. A big thank you to him. The property itself is very beautiful and it felt like living almost in the middle of the forest. However, there were small issues which if improved can make this a 5 star property - plumbing wasn't up to date with a very leaky shower, dining area could have been air-conditioned and swimming pool must be much cleaner. There was also constant struggle with power supply although the power was there all the time with some interruptions. Overall, quite a good trip.

Wonderful stay amidst nature! We were well-assisted by Shukla ji and his team.The rooms were huge and clean. We got to see a palm civet cat on the campus, too and a jackal just at the entrance. Indeed our stay had a dash of thrill, too.

Not so maintained property at Tadoba , though the structural condition is ok the upkeepmemt of the property really needs a good fresh eye to look at the place . Service staff is good and warm . Food is good . It's about 100km drive from Nagpur And close to a lot of Safari gates in Tadoba . We had a 3 night stay at the property and we well looked after by the team .

Stayed for 5N/4D. Was given to believe that this is “long” given the usual trend of overnighters. We couldn’t be happier to have stayed this long. To elaborate on the pros and lets try to do a few areas of improvements: Pros: Detached from the world. Internet (and airtel) is non existent unless you specifically look for it. If you really must be connect they’ll offer a router if they have one spare. If you’re looking for a digital detox, this is it. Food: They will really go out of their way to cater to specific dietary requirements. You just need to let them know. One of us could t handle any chilli and they catered to impress. Staff: Very friendly and give their best. Space: Ample, be it the grounds or villas. Location: Within the buffer zone. Not close to the two gates we used i.e. Ramdegi and Pangadi. You read everywhere that Moharli is the place to be but that’s swarming with tourists only because most resorts are located there. This is away from the maddening crowd and an hour to some gates is well worth it. We saw in all 5 Tigers, the elusive Black Leopard, numerous Gaurs, deer, Blue bull (Nilgai), Wild boar and several species of birds. All without much other tourists. Also wild boar pass right through the resort in hoards. Also I’m told tigers and sloth bears also drink from the river behind the resort. Areas of improvement: Communication: Minor but they could have let us know when we could have a la carte (we were only guests) and when they have buffet service. Minor, but an area of improvement. Packed safari breakfast: could have used a little more love. In a rush they seemed to have forgotten the spice levels and the omelette had chilli. No banana as mentioned instead we got apple. Not picking here really. Food timings: Not really followed. It’s just indicative. All in all it was a stunning and memorable stay. Huge shout out to: Chef Pramod (Head Chef), Kailash (his able asst.), Harsh (F&B Captain and a rock star), Nikhil (F&B), Rakesh (Housekeeping) and Duryodhan (Engineer and also helped me use his motorbike which we enjoyed riding for hours through the amazing terrain). All of this under the great supervision and care of Vicky Bora (Asst. Resort Mgr.) and Sharad Tiwari (Reaort Mgr.). Kudos to these fine gentlemen for ensuing every stay is curated. Last but not the least, much love to Teddy and Mowgli, the two young pups the Resort has adopted. They are friendly, playful and welcoming, we miss them already. Just shower them some love and they’ll find their way outside your villa, follow you around and you feel like you’re home. Thank you once again all. I hope more people discover this gem.
