Clean facility with plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable room and bed. Breakfast included in stay was good. They also have an on site bar/lounge. Friendly staff. Swimming pool with a slide looked inviting but we forgot our swim suits. Good place for families.

We weren’t expecting much of this hotel, given how relatively remote its location is- Chamberlain is a very small town located in a very rural area of South Dakota. But we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is located right off the interstate, easy to access. It has a very low key, but pleasant vibe. Cute western theme. Only two floors and NO elevator. Fine for us, we are able to carry luggage up stairs. But for those with mobility issues, be sure to book a room on the first floor. The room was cozy, the decor very cute. Very quiet! Would definitely stay again if passing through.

Price was high for this type of rm.( 200.00 with discount) phone was broke AIR was Broke. Sm black bugs. Night girls no help. Told the kid at front desk when checking out. Stood with his mouth open, but no words. My suggestion is for the price keep going to Mitchell SD.

Enjoyed our stay in Chamberlain on the way to Yellowstone. AmericInn was a very nice place to stop for the night. The hotel is nicely decorated with a western wildlife feel. The pool area with the indoor water slide was a big hit with the kids. There was a pool basketball hoop held by a large moose that was also fun. Our room was a suite. There was a living room with a sleeper sofa. The bedroom was a separate room with two queen beds. The bathroom area was between the two rooms with the sink/mirror area separate from the shower/toilet area. The breakfast was the standard complimentary fare. We like to eat at local places and avoid the chain restaurants if possible. We had dinner at Charlys. A local bar/restaurant. Even with the bar piece of it there many families there. The food was very good with a fun atmosphere. All in all a nice place to stop for the night. With a fun pool area for the kids. Good local restaurant for dinner.

This hotel is decorated very well with Western Lodge identity. It does not have an elevator and that is not stated in the hotel's description. The description lists a lounge as one of their amenities but we never found a lounge. The bathroom sink is not part of the water closet but is part of the bedroom. There are very few restaurants in the area.

This was our 3rd time staying at AmericInn in Chamberlain. Check-in was easy (all done ahead online). We had a first floor room and unfortunately, did not realize one of the key cards did not work, but luckily someone was in the room at the time. The room is simple, 2 queen beds, a table, TV, micro-fridge, table and two chairs. Lamps that lit the room fairly (not so bright, but not so dark). AC worked fine. The pool was cold, but as most pools are, you get use to it. The hot tub was hot, like hotter than usual. Enough to steam up your glasses when walk into the room hot. Most people will probably not like it that hot, but it was fine. Free breakfast, eggs, waffles, sausage, and the assortment of cereals, yogurts, fruits, and bagels. OJ, milk, water, coffee, and tea. Check-out was super easy.

Overall our short stay was comfortable. My son enjoyed the slide in the pool. The room was spacious. concerning that the side entrances stayed unlocked throughout the day and night but otherwise it was nice.

Don’t pass this one up! Right off of I 90 .Gas station across the street. Not much to do in the area but we managed to find a place for dinner after our late arrival. Breakfast is typical but good. Staff was very friendly, beds were comfy, and the property was immaculate!
