Deodar Manor

Had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. The staff especially Mr Nithin, has been extremely hospitable and Vishal is a fantastic chef. Food here is very wholesome, homely and delicious. This is a 120 year old heritage property with a stunning view of Himalayas and surrounded by forests all around. The Khajjiar meadow is a short walk downhill from here. Anybody who loves nature wouldn’t be able to resist the charm of this beautiful homestay. The highlight of this visit has been Shadow, a 2 year old English pointer, who is the heart and soul of this property! Even the most cold hearted person is guaranteed to fall in love with him! The owner Mr Hanut stays with his mother in the property ***** with the staff and Shadow. Mr Hanut’s mother is a very warm and friendly lady who has been a delight to talk to. The house itself and its architecture is beautiful with the sunlight streaming in from all sides from the glass windows in the attached balcony. Overall this has been the best stay in a long time and i will definitely come back!

Warm , hospitable host and staff who take good care of you . Lovely rooms , food was yummy ( best poha I ever had) , and a great view . Thanks Hanut and team. Did my first paragliding and a first visit to Khajjiar . Made friends with shadow and explored the mountains and forests nearby

My parents and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were looking for a clean property with fantastic views and Deodar Manor delivered !! The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean. Trinkets around the house will have you occupied for a major part of the day, the art and heritage pieces are fabulous. The owner Hanut was around to provide additional information on the history of the house- a 120 year old mansion. The food was home made and delectable. Nithin, the care taker took great care of us. The house pet, Shadow , is so gentle and kind that my parents loved spending time with him while soaking in the morning sun. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great view, proximity to the Khajjiar meadow and immaculate service

We had the best and comfortable homestay in KHAJJIAR Staff was also very helpful and kind. Food and other amenities were top notch. Cleanliness was maintained Location is very beautiful and close to nature. It was the best experience to stay

We had a wonderful stay at deodar manor with our 10 month baby. The stay was pleasant and relaxing. The property is surrounded by beautiful scenic views , good view of pir Panjal ranges. Healthy homely food served. Supportive staff. Best place to stay in khajjiar

It is a Heritage property with colonial architect. It is a very well maintained property with well behaved staff, warm hospitality of the owner family, excellent rooms with cozy living and dining area, decorated with selectively choosen artefacts. Breathtaking view of Pirpanjal range from terrace and balcony. Slightly upwards from khajjiar lake and meadow amidst the cedar forest. A blissful stay I must say. Highly recommended.
