This cozy three-bedroom cabin is nestled in the center of the Black Hills National Forest. It is surrounded by ponderosa pine trees and is close to Lake Pactola and Sheridan Lake. There is space for one small trailer if you choose to travel with one. There are also ATV trails just outside your door! With deer and turkey abundant in the area, you might even be lucky enough to spot some wildlife during your stay. The upper enclosed loft area has a king bed and a bathroom that includes a shower, sink, and toilet. There is also a portable AC unit in this room. The main level has two bedrooms, both with queen beds. There is also a full bathroom on the main level. This home is 3 miles off of Highway 385, and 3 miles of the road is gravel. This home has wifi and Verizon cell service. Sunset Trails Cabin was updated for the 2022 season and under new management. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with queen beds on a split level (the loft is no longer in use). One bedroom leads to a large deck with a beautiful view. It has two 3/4 bathrooms, full kitchen, gas fireplace, deck with gas grill, and a washer and dryer. Sunset Trails is located 5 minutes from Hill City on roughly 1.5 miles of gravel road (guests on motorcycles please take note of the gravel road). Its walking distance from the Mickelson Trail and about 20 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. For those of you that like to stay connected you do have cell service here and we just added Wi-Fi!! Cell service is spotty in some areas so please pull up the map and directions before heading to the house.
