Our cabin is conveniently located 2 miles outside of small town Dushore. It offers a private getaway on 40 acres of wooded land encompassing a creek, walking trails on the old railroad tracks and much more.Our cabin has a long history dating back to being used as a railroad scale house. The property contains old railroad tracks used as walking trails along with miles of other walking trailsGreat living space that is open to the loft which contains two beds. Private bedroom with a queen bed. Living space has a recliner and futon that can be used as a sleeping spot. Full size kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator. A grill and outdoor Fire pit are provided for additional cooking options. Large deck with family seating overlooks the nearby creek running through the propertyWorlds End State Park and Ricketts Glenn State Park are both located within 20 miles from along with many other walking and hiking trails There is a propane stove in the living room for heating along with electric baseboard in the bedroom. We have an air condition installed in the living room during the summer months This is a cabin in the woods. You may experience deer, bear, turkeys, and other animals on the property. You also may see mice, spiders, or bugs as you are on a property in the woods. Please don’t hunt on the property. Thank you We have bundles of fire wood available for sale. You are welcome to bring your own or use fallen limbs on the property, just please don’t cut down trees. Nearby attractions are Worlds End State park , Ricketts Glen State park , The Haystack trails & numerous waterfalls in & around Sullivan County . The State Game Lands are just a few miles away. If fishing is your thing there's Loyalsock & Muncy creek , Kast Pond is only 1.7 miles away ( Pa fishing license required). There’s so much to do that is within a half hour drive . The cabin itself offers a covered back deck with comfortable chairs overlooking the wooded back yard , views & relaxing water sounds from the Koi pond . Inside the living room has beautiful stonework surrounding a usable woodstove , open kitchen & dining area with a sliding door leading to a front deck - Full bathroom & Master bedroom with a queen size bed are also on main level . The 2nd bedroom is an upstairs loft with a queen bed , a twin bed & the 2nd bathroom . There's a deck off of the loft area overlooking the grounds & the Koi pond . The sounds from the pond are sure to put you in a relaxed mood ( sorry in the colder months the pond waterfall is not operational ). The cabin is pet friendly , 2 pets allowed (small pet fee required at booking ). This secluded property has 100 private acres with a 2 bedroom cabin and is adjacent to the Loyalsock State Forest. Conveniently located just 5 miles from Worlds End State Park and a short drive to Ricketts Glen State Park. The perfect getaway for someone who enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, biking and the outdoors. Ideal location situated on 100 private acres adjacent to the Loyalsock State Forest that hosts many walking and biking trails as well as the Loyalsock Trail and the famous Haystacks, just a few miles to World's End State Park and Rickets' Glen State Park. Guests will have permission to access all of the property and trails. The cabin defines comfort and relaxation with a nice covered front porch and fire pit (firewood provided). Room 1 has 2 twin beds and Room 2 has a queen bed. The living area also has a sofa bed and a recliner. A blow up mattress could also fit in the living area. High Rock's has running water and electricity and a well equipped kitchen. Good Verizon cell service! Currently, taking reservations for hunting season (deer, turkey & bear in WMU 3B).
