If you want to see the Aurora Borealis, the back yard has a great clearing and you’re far enough away from the city lights that the opportunity is there. Close in proximity to rivers for fishing or kayaking, and great hiking trails, and not to mention, wildlife can be seen right from the back door. We are within walking distance of a local store with access to basic food, gas, and a post office in true Alaskan fashion. A pamphlet provided in the home during your stay identifies local restaurants and activities for all seasons.
