Inspired after watching every tiny house show on HGTV and pitching the idea like on Shark Tank, Southern Faith Cabin was built and moved to our property by Patoka Lake. Enjoy this NEW tiny cabin by Patoka Lake/ French Lick, Indiana. This unique property is the perfect getaway. You'll love the outdoor space (swing, picnic table, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, outhouse- don't worry it has a full bathroom inside :-) and acreage all around you). Whether you're boating at Patoka Lake, yearning to just get away, reconnect with a friend, stare into a campfire, truly hear nature, or just read a book, this is the place to stay! Don't let a tiny cabin fool you, we've thought of everything you could need/want. Just bring your food and clothing!We welcome boaters. We have boat parking and are located within 2 miles of 3 boat ramps at Patoka Lake. Please note: This is a tiny cabin and the queen bed is located in the loft. Please be sure you are able to safely climb the library ladder to enter/exit the sleeping area. The cabin is equipped with an exterior security camera. PATOKA HILLS - Great cabin in perfect location for fisherman and families!Fisherman will enjoy the close proximity of 3 boat ramps on Patoka Lake with plenty of space to park your boat onsite. Families will enjoy the close proximity to the French Lick area (which includes bowling / mini golf / bike trails / go karts / indoor water park), French Lick Scenic Railway, Patoka Lake State Park (fishing / swimming / hiking), Marengo Caves, Paoli Peaks (skiing and tubing), Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, Wineries, Golf Courses and so much more.The cabin has one large bedroom with a king size bed, a newly added second bedroom with a queen size bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also a cot and pack and play available if needed. The kitchen is fully furnished, including a Keurig and Crock Pot. The bathroom includes towels and washcloths.There is a washer and dryer available for use.WIFI is included. There is a wrap around porch with outdoor seating to enjoy the sites and sounds of nature and a concrete firepit area to enjoy some s’mores and stars!No Pets or Smoking.There is a security camera on the corner of the garage pointing at sidewalk to the cabin that is only used when there are no guests. The cabin has a gravel drive and one step up onto the porches. We can set up the ramp for wheelchair access. The quarter-mile, woodswalk is a work in progress. Fishing in the pond is catch and eat or catch and release – no take-home. The cabin has heating and air-conditioning, electric, a wood-burning fireplace, hot and cold water, a heated tile bathroom floor. Gas and charcoal grills bring your own charcoal. There is a new patio with a fire ring if you want to do a hot dog roast. Canoe + PFD along with paddles available. Refrigerator, counter top oven, 2 burner hot plate and microwave coffee maker“Major“ is our German Shepard who was born December 2020 moves around the property at will and loves swimming in the pond. He greets our guests and expects to make new friends. Though his time is spent mostly at our house - not at the cabin. We have most all the pots and pans and utensils for cooking and preparing foods. John’s cabin is located on an acre of land nestled in the trees with a beautiful pond in front. Doesn’t get much prettier than this setting. There is a wooded hiking trail if you want to go for a walk. It is 5 minutes from the historic town of French Lick where you will find lots of entertainment, and many restaurants. Should you bring a boat for an outing at Patoka Lake, boat parking is available right across the county road from the cabin. The cabin has a queen bed in the loft area and a twin bed on the main floor. The loft area has stairs that are a little steep. The living room area has a pull out couch.The cabin is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each stay with all used linens washed & dried.
