It is 1/2 mile uphill the whole way and there is 300 feet that is steep and would be considered a strenuous hike with the most gorgeous views! The Blue Ridge Mountains in one direction and the tallest mountain in the opposite direction is Yellow Mountain which is one of the top hikes in all of Western North Carolina and very close to us.
