Welcome to the Campfire Lodge at Big Powderhorn Ski Resort. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom A-Frame chalet is located just 3 blocks from the Mountain and just a short drive to Black River Harbor, The Waterfalls, Copper Peak, and much more. We are in the heart of the Western UP vacation country. Our lodge features a hot tub, seasonal firepit, nice WiFi, 58" smart TV, books and games galore, and most importantly a space to make great memories. The lodge is two story northwoods A-Frame in the "Powder Village" neighborhood near Big Powderhorn Ski Resort. In the winter, the neighborhood is alive with skiers and snowmobilers as the property is close to Snowmobile Trail #2. A recently updated chalet in the village at Big Powderhorn Mountain. Timbuktu is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac and within a short 10-minute walk to Big Powderhorn Lodge and ski lifts. Uniquely, Timbuktu is powered by an on-site solar system which is supplemented by other renewables. Timbuktu is a duplex with us, the owners, living next door. No need to turn trailers around, just pull right on through!We’re minutes from Blackjack and Indianhead Mountain for boarding and downhill skiing variety.For your Big Powderhorn Mountain experiences, you can WALK up Powderhorn Road to Lift #1 (about 1200 ft), drive, or you can take the shuttle during snow season to the Gun Barrel Lodge or any of the other bars/restaurants in the Mountain area.You have ride in/ride out access (leave your trailers in our driveway) to SNOWMOBILE & ATV TRAIL # 2.Cross-country skiers can pole across the road for local Nordic trails and are in close proximity to the 26 Km Wolverine Nordic Cross Country Ski & Mountain Bike Trails.Waldhein is a two-level chalet with front decks on the main and upper levels. The lower front deck with charcoal grill on the main level (except during snow season).It has three private bedrooms (1 Queen on the main level, 2 Full-size bedroom on the upper level) and a lofted space with 2 Twin-sized beds. There is a bathroom available on each level (shower/tub combo on the main level, shower on upper level). This is it! Our place is a great place for your big family or group to ski, snowmobile or just relax. We offer plenty of room with 5 private bedrooms. We have an area of open space including a living room and kitchen that is over 1000sq.' It has 2 fireplaces. A gas fireplace in the living room and if you prefer wood there is a wood one in the kitchen. Time to clean up, we have 3 full bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap. Also a half bath upstairs.Then a sauna and hot tub to relax in after a tough day of play. Also a rec room with a foosball table and ping pong table. Wi Fi and Cable on a huge flatscreen.
