This large, private cabin is located in between Blanco and Fredericksburg in the middle of it all – 15 minutes to 290 wineries; 45 minutes to Wimberley; under an hour to Canyon Lake; and 50 minutes to Marble Falls. Our cabin is a labor of love with a complete rehab in 2023. It is the ideal property for large groups up to 12. The Writer’s Cabin is a rustic retreat with all the amenities you could ever need. It is situated on our small farm on the west edge of Johnson City, a 1 1/2 minute drive from the town square. We have 2 donkeys, lots of chickens and guineas, 2 of the friendliest dogs ever, and a couple of adorable cats to keep you entertained. The yard is full of huge live oak trees, and comfortable seating areas. We offer a full breakfast with farm fresh eggs if you care to join us. We also have two bedrooms in our Farmhouse (across the driveway) available for reservation.
