**Comfortable Stay with a Few Disappointments** I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Skopje, and my experience was a mix of positives and some notable drawbacks. On the positive side, the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. They are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including an iron, ironing board, safe, hairdryer, and even a toothbrush and toothpaste, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location is also excellent — it is central and convenient for getting around the city. However, I was disappointed with the service and the spa facilities. The spa hardly deserves the name; there is no pool, only a couple of small saunas. I was informed by the staff to notify them 30 minutes in advance so that the sauna could be heated. I followed these instructions and notified them 60 minutes ahead of time, but when I arrived, the sauna was still cold. As a result, I had to skip the spa entirely, which was frustrating and disrupted my plans. The gym was also underwhelming. It is very small and lacks adequate equipment, making it hard to consider it a proper gym. In summary, while the rooms and location are excellent, the hotel needs significant improvements in terms of spa services, staff reliability, and gym facilities. I would consider staying here again for the comfort and convenience, but I hope the management takes steps to enhance the overall guest experience.

I stayed at this hotel twice in two weeks’ time. The rooms are very modern and clean. Safe and hairdryer available in the rooms as well as tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar. Both stays I had a room with a balcony. During my second time, the tv wasn’t working. According to reception the tv’s in none of the rooms were working. This was never solved unfortunately. The bed is quite soft. At reception only the younger staff speak English. The breakfast buffet is very good. It is possibe to have dinner at the bar/restaurant downstairs, but dinner there wasn’t great and there was hardly a waiter in sight during the evening. The hotel is located very well in the city centre.
