La Secundina - Hotel de Campo

Fabulous authentic hacienda experience, this 300 year old gem comes complete with original intricately carved antique furniture, high ceilings, an inner courtyard with superbly maintained grounds and gardens. Located a half hour from Salta city center the hacienda is surrounded by the private finca (farm), where you can enjoy the pool and horseback trail riding with the hosts. Speaking of hosts, the proprietor, Don Ricardo, is very gracious, and should you speak Spanish, I am sure he would have a few tales to tell. Our thanks go out our favourite host and private chef, Gloria ♥️, who was around 27/7 to help us with our needs. Also a big shout out to our new found friend, Nico, the assistant manager, who took us out horseback riding. Muchas gracias Nico!
