"Villa d"Este was like living a dream. Our breath was taken away by the views from our suite in the Queens Building. The estate is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to spend time in. Time to relax, to take in the stunning views. We were so impressed by the wonderful food offerings , so much so that, after dining outside of Villa d'Este , we then cancelled further bookings and stayed within the hotel. The Grill, Pletano and the Verandah ..all offered amazing experiences. We celebrated my wifes birthday at Verandah and in addition to the stunning food were looked after by a wonderful team of professionals. Francesco is the perfect example of a caring and welcoming host. He made sure every dinner and breakfast was a memorable event. Be aware the pool at Villa d'este is often overrun with children (so too the Jacuzzi) and may not be the quiet elegant situation that you had hoped for. But, get away from the crowds, and you will find places to enchant and capture your heart. A boat tour is also recommended. Date of experience: June 2025"

"Asunto ei ole mitään mahtavaa, mutta täysin kunnossa. Se on erittäin mukava sijainti, hyvä yksityispysäköinti (maksulla). Paikka on puhdas, tyypillinen italialainen koriste (värillinen ja puutteellinen loppu) - ehdottomasti OK! Meillä oli valitettava kokemus: tlf.no. me saimme verkossa oli ilmeisesti väärin (näytti olevan ladynainen omaisuutta vieressä ovessa, joka käyttää samaa pysäköintitilaa). Viestin meitä ohjattiin asuntoon. Koska meillä oli ohjeita yhteydenottoon pysäköinti, & kun näki, että osoite & poikkeus kartalla oli oikeassa paikassa, emme edes katsonut mitään ei ollut oikein, kunnes lady soitti ja sanoi, että oli ollut sekoitus & hän oli tehnyt virhe & meidän olisi pakko lähteä huoneisto välittömästi. Sitten olimme ohjattu vieressä ovea, oikean asunnon. Ymmärrämme, että virheitä voi tapahtua (vaikka tämä oli erityisen outoa!), mutta luuletteko, että kaikki ymmärtäisivät, miten epämukavaa tämä oli kaikille mukana - erityisesti meille - mutta meitä on valitettavasti tervehtinyt Cernobbiossa. Asuinpaikka, hyvin vähän ystävällisyyttä, sijaan meitä pantiin läpi hyvin epämukavissa ”3.rd degree” omistajan, about the tlf.number & who we had spoken to etc. & sitten lopulta antaa meille vaikeaa aikaa tulla sisään tarkistaa klo 8:30 ja ei klo 6:30, kuten se ilmoitti verkossa (ilmeisesti olimme eri huoneiston tuolloin!). Olimme itse asiassa suositeltu heidän ravintolansa illalliselle, joka oli alun perin suunnitelmamme, mutta hyvin epäystävällisiä sisäänkäyntejä päätimme olla."
