We booked 9 rooms with included breakfast for our guests. The hotel doesn't have the amenities to do the breakfast in house, so it's handled in a nearby restaurant. The guests arrived, and the night before the breakfast, we were told that they had a limit for ordering to 5 eur, but we paid 10 eur for the breakfast. The owner was not informed about the agreed price, and then proceeded to tell me that the limit still applies, but till 10 eur. If that was the case, I would have organized the breakfast myself for the guests. It turns out that he just wants to make a profit on the breakfast too. There was no one at the reception, only during check in for which the time was communicated before. Sometimes the check in was handled by the cleaning staff too. Because of this, the guests had no one to ask for breakfast directions, or even toiletries. Sometimes, there were told misleading info, like that they did not have breakfast included with the stay. At one time, I was instructed by the owner to tell my guests to go into the supply cabinet to take what they need for their room! The breakfast venue changed for Sunday (because the regular breakfast place was closed), and different restaurant was selected with only one breakfast option. This was not communicated before. I called the restaurant, and was told that the owner requested only one option, if it was up to the restaurant, they were prepared to offer the whole menu. There was a smell on the whole second floor, and one of the guests complained that it was particularly strong in his room, and that the shower drainage did not work properly, and the owner negated that they had a problem. All in all, the owner is really unprofessional, dishonest, they change the terms after agreement and payment, and are not willing to do anything about it afterwards.
