Main Gate Kissimmee Hotel

Excelente Hotel, AK es una gran persona, muy amable y amigable. Viaje con mi bebe, esposa y mama y la verdad todos muy contentos. El transporte del hotel a los parques realmente ayuda mucho y hace que ahorres unos pesos. Esta muy cerca de walmart, restaurantes,

Roaches were on the walls. They charged me a "hotel fee" for housekeeping, yet no one Ever ame to the room to bring a extra towel or empty a trash can. There is No password 4 the free WiFi,that doesn't exist. They guy at the desk doesn't like to b disturbed with any issues or check ins after 7pm. The room smelled like musk and the neighborhood homeless, has free access to the pool! They wouldn't refuse d my money so that I could relocate. Woke up with black bites on my leg. BEWARE!!!

This used to be a fantastic budget hotel where we have stayed on many occasions. Unfortunately, it will close at the end of 2022 having been sold off in April. The new owners intend to demolish the motel and the one next door and build apartments. This might explain the poor reviews recently. I imagine it will be hard for the staff to remain enthusiastic when their place of work is about to be knocked down!

We stayed at this motel not expecting much other than a clean place to lay our heads for a couple nights in between long days at Disney parks. The place was old and dingy, smelled musty. On our second night, a cockroach crawled across one of the beds. We smashed it and took it up to the front desk (along with a 2nd one we found on the wall) and asked the staff what they were going to do. The front desk clerk blew us off, saying that it rained, so that's normal for them to come inside. He actually said, "You probably have roaches in your home too." He offered to come in and spray the room (at 11pm at night, when we were about to go to bed) or we could move all of our things all the way across the motel to another room. We said we would just check out and go home early and they refused to refund our money.

I usually stay here everytime I'm in the area. The staff super nice and respectful. When my friends needed something they just ask and the staff will help. However the beds needed a little bit of cleaning and the bathroom as well, but other than those things it was a nice stay.

I have stayed here many many times but it has been about 3 years since my last visit and I used to be an advocate and used to recommend this motel. I will no longer stay here or suggest that you do. It has always been an inexpensive motel. No frills, nothing fancy, simple. I would stay here because of it being close to the parks and it being a decent place, decent pool. Not anymore. They used to take more pride in the motel and maintain it. It is is dire need of a paint job, updating and a MAJOR cleaning. The property is getting more and more run down. For some reason some people think its appropriate to leave their doors open, stand out side in their underwear, play loud music outside their rooms. I don't get it. Everyday I was there, there was usually laundry or full bags of trash left out outside some of the rooms, for extended periods of time. There weren't any nights that there was not a loud verbal domestic argument or screaming outside or in a nearby room loud enough to hear from the next building over. I don't expect 5 star experience from this motel and never did, not even 3 star. I have to say these days if they achieve a 1 or 2 star I would be shocked. Stay somewhere else, enjoy you vacation or time in Orlando/Kissimmee. This is not a nice clean family motel anymore.
