Vallegrande Nature Resort by Geocharme

Hotel is mooi aangelegd. Ziet er zeer stijlvol en mooi uit. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk verwelkomd door Christina. Ze bracht ons naar de kamer en liet de omgeving zien. De omgeving is rustgevend en heeft een mooi natuurgebied. Met uitzicht op zee is het prachtig om te verblijven. Het hotel bood ook Spa voorzieningen aan op hun website. Dat was ook een van de redenen dat we hier hadden geboekt. Ik wilde een afspraak maken voor een massage. Bleek er helemaal geen spa meer te zijn. Teleurstelling 1. Het dinner was goed en lekker. Om daar een keer te reserveren is aan te raden. Het ontbijt was goed maar wel beperkt. FruitSap was niet vers. En als je een gebakken ei wilde hebben moest je daarvoor extra betalen. De kamer was prima. Bed lag goed en de kussens zijn ook prima. Mooie goede regen douche. De service viel erg tegen. Als we iets wilde bestellen bij het zwembad stond er niemand. Alexio en Matteo daarentegen waren zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Maar verder viel de service wel tegen. Ook bij vertrek werd er niet gevraagd hoe we het gehad hebben. Het verblijf is mooi en straalt luxe uit. Maar de service is daar niet naar jammer genoeg.

Rooms are not what they are portrayed as .We are two adult couples who booked a 2 bed suite to find the second room has a pop up bed and is fit for only children After much much discussion and bafflement on behalf of the staff we finally got another room at substantial further cost .The rooms are not worth waiting for they are at best sheds with tiny windows ,no views and below average beds and bedding . The Nature bit of the “resort”consists of mosquitoes in the evening and the flies on the breakfast bar .The other “nature”element we assume must be their keenness to reuse old towels and to not upgrade the furniture for we assume “Eco”reasons Half board food is average at best and breakfast is appalling.We skipped the evening meal (having paid already for it )and went on the very very long trip into town for dinner instead . The staff seem to pay almost no attention to the guest .Asking for a coffee at 7.20 in the morning was received by one staff member with disdain and a shrug as if I had insulted him . There is nothing resort ,nothing nature and nothing 5 star about this place Avoid Avoid

Scrivo questa recensione in due parti. la prima non per criticare ma per, umilmente, consigliare prima parte 1) ingresso poco illuminato. Chi arricva la sera puo' avere difficoltà, noi abbiamo acceso le torce dello smartphone per illiminare il nostro cammino. Non amo le illuminazioni invasive e mi piace l'atmosfera delle luci soffuse ma all'ingresso dove c'è il portoncino in legno con campanello/citofono una luce a tempo di quelle che si accendono con il sensore la metterei. 2) Menu riatorante su Ipad mi è sembrato squallido, poco igienico ( girava lo stesso Ipad su tutti i tavoli ). Più che da ristorante gourmet è da ristorante cinese all you can eat. Consiglio un classico menù cartaceo, che con un computer e una stampante è veloce da stampare e modificare, o su Qrcode. 3) personale sala ristorante gentile, garbato ma palesemente senza formazione professionale alberghiera 4) la presenza di bambini ovviamente genera un atmosfera "rumorosa", sopratutto in piscina e in sala ristorante bambini e passeggini non contribuiscono alla giusta atmosfera che merita un Hotel del genere. La struttura pare si voglia dare un taglio di total relax, pace, tranquillità, invito la proprietà a valutare la formula "only adults" come gia fanno molti Hotel/resort di questo tipo. Seconda parte Location molto bella in mezzo ad una valle del parco delle Madonie. Strada per raggiungerla un po' tortuosa, come qualsiasi strada di campagna in zone collinari. Asfalto recentemente migliorato, raggiungibile con qualsi tipo di veicolo. Tutta la struttura è ben curata e arredata con gusto. Davvero bella la reception, belli gli spazi comuni, molto bella la sala ristorante. Giardino meraviglioso pieno di vegetazione locale e molto ben curato. Piscina leggermente sotto dimensionata per quando la strutturta è al completo. Camere in linea con il resto, quindi pulite e arredate con gusto. Ristorazione di ottimo livello con piatti particolari preparati con cura e con materie prime fresche. Cantina fornita ma mi sarei aspettato qualche etichetta in più. Bar non all'altezza del resto, mi è sembrato con una dotazione alcolici appena sufficiente. Il Vallegrande è un ottima base per godersi questa parte di Sicilia con escursioni giornaliere.

Un posto davvero ben curato, immerso nel bosco, ottimo per rilassarsi in coppia o con la famiglia. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Cucina gourmet eccellente e camera confortevole. Unica nota dolente, la distanza dichiarata dal centro di Cefalù..ingannevole! Ben 20 minuti e più per arrivarci

Location carina , cucina molto molto buona , il servizio non è il massimo . Alcuni camerieri abbastanza scocciati alle richieste del cliente ; la prima sera per cenare siamo arrivate 15 minuti in ritardo e ci hanno fatto pesare la cosa per tutta la cena dicendo che dovevamo sbrigarci e togliendoci subito i vari piatti facendoci sentire a disagio e rendendo la cena snervante nonostante la cucina sia stata ottima/eccellente .

Vallegrande is in a stunning location, beautifully kept, excellent plumbing, aircon etc. It is a very pleasant place to be. However, the journey from the main road needs to be much more clearly highlighted. It is treacherous. Even for the most robust driver, it could only be attempted once a day which left us less likely to go to the beach or the town for lunch etc. The website implies some kind of organic food escape. This not the case. Breakfast remained completely the same for 10 days. Not one item changed. Rock hard and poorly mixed scrambled eggs, gone off pineapple, faded grated carrot, very average and not crispy croissants. Even the £7 omelette was over done, one crepe was served for €6, one boiled egg €4. The lunch offering was poor, an €18 chicken salad had scraps of chicken, chunks of golden delicious apple, rocket and no dressing. A side of bread from breakfast was served. While some staff were friendly, there was an air from many that they just did not want to be there. Smiles were rare. We had a very basic massage is a painted plywood box/shed, don't bother to be honest. We had a wonderful holiday in a stunning part of the world. However, these are the things I would question before booking. As a final sign off, following paying a bill of over €5,000 (we had two rooms), I asked for a bottle of water for the journey in 35 degree heat and was charged €3.

We stayed for two nights at Vallegrande. Considering the branding (relaxed luxury) we thought this resort would have couples as guest, but the majority was families with children. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy some quiet time at the resort, this place is not for you. The beds were also rock hard. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, and the service was amazing!

Die Anlage liegt landschaftlich sehr schön und ist sehr ruhig und weitläufig. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über eine 4 km lange, enge und steile Bergstrasse. Die Anlage selbst ist overdesigned mit unpraktischem Zimmermobiliar, unter Verwendung billiger Materialien (teilweise defekt, wackelig). Essgeschirr teilweise unsauber. Preise im Vergleich zur Leistung deutlich zu hoch.

Ero curiosa di vedere questo geoluxury hotel Nature e sono rimasta profondamente delusa .Bella la location con stanze ben arredate ma gestione e manutenzione scarsissime : chaise longue sia antecedente suite che perimetrali la piscina sporche e macchiate , pavimento perimetrale piscina fatto con assi di legno divelti e pericolosi, l'interno piscina scrostato, nelle zone Living due dita di polvere , panorama zero , wood bar chiuso, strada per arrivare alla struttura stretta buia e piena di buche e dossi , personale non professionale e composto da ragazzi stagionali ...ristorante gourmet con prodotti non del luogo tipo il topinambur e menu non presentato ...ci hanno dato un ipad e non hanno consigliato nulla ...e per finire nonostante le lamentele non ci hanno accompagnato e ci siamo portati le valigie ....che tristezza ...
