We recently stayed at The Gathering Place for an entire week, as well as hosting our wedding on the grounds and it was everything we wanted it to be! The setting by the lake is serene and peaceful, with abundant wildlife that made every moment feel like an escape into nature. The cabin we stayed in had the most breathtaking views of both the sunrises and sunsets, creating a romantic atmosphere that was perfect for our special occasion. During our stay, we learned how to kayak on the lake, which was such a fun and memorable experience, and gave us a new active hobby to pursue! Deanna was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding and mini-honeymoon unforgettable. Her warmth and attention to detail made our entire week feel like a real vacation, If you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a unique wedding destination, I cannot recommend The Gathering enough. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and make lasting memories.

There are not enough stars to give you Deanna and Mike! We spent a wonderful long weekend with 23 in our family. So relaxing, with plenty to do for all our age groups. Time so very well spent! This Nana and Papa see Gathering Place as a real gift! Thanks again!

Our family group of 10 spent the week at this amazingly clean and nice cabin with such great amenities. Free firewood, fire pit, kayak and canoe use, fishing and pontoon boats to rent, awesome clear lake. To top it off, the owners (Mike and Deanne) take the time to get to know their guests. Music on Tuesday nights with catered food and bar was amazing as well. We'll be back.

Great place for a long weekend. Prefect days sitting by the lake and lots of fun activities in the area. Just ask Deanna or Mike for information on what you want to to see and they will provide you lots of options. We wanted some time to relax and this was a perfect place for that. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Cant wait to go back next year!

This is our 10th visit to this lovely resort on Red Cedar Lake. It is secluded and very well maintained. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Owners Michael and Deanna are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and fun! There are kayaks, a lodge, play area, beach and fire pits. We are already planning our return next year!

We stayed at Towering Pines in mid-December for an extended family birthday party. The lodge was well-appointed with kitchen utensils, games, etc. Especially impressed that every bedroom had it's own full bathroom!. Different activities of course than there would be in summer, so we're looking forward to coming again when we can enjoy the beautiful large deck and the waterfront. Very professionally managed and highly recommended.
