Ashton Court Belize

What's place! As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in large hotels and resorts I found it charming to stay in a small boutique hotel right on the beach. The convenience and ease of access was unmatched to restaurants, shops and the hotel bar. This place is new, has a charming pier out into the water for viewing or fishing and has a very accommodating staff with most of the amenities you would want in a larger resort. Make sure you ask the front desk to point you to the best restaurant for fresh lobster! I highly recommend Ashton Court and it will be the only place I stay on my Belize/Caye Caulker return trips.

I recently stayed at Ashton Court and had a wonderful experience. The location is quiet, offering a peaceful retreat in the most beautiful place. The room was excellent quality, well-maintained, and very comfortable. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were not only helpful but also genuinely nice, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Ashton Court for anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay!

Aston Court is perfectly situated on beautiful Caye Caulker in Belize. We had an amazing trip. We stayed in The Beach House, which is perfect for large families, or a couples group. The wrap around veranda is so relaxing to sit and enjoy the sea breezes, and the laid back Caye Caulker vibe. We got to watch a nesting Osprey in her nest on the thatched roof of the Ashton Court pier. Our friends stayed in a beautifully appointed room on the top floor where the views were fantastic. I loved the open air lobby / bar. The staff is super friendly, and catered to our needs beautifully. My next visit, I’m definitely staying at Ashton Court again!

Ashton Court staff was super welcoming and went above and beyond to make to make our stay memorable. Our rooms were modern and clean, the bed was luxurious and comfortable. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Ashton Court is ideally located beachfront with calm cool breezes.

We had the best stay at Ashton Court with friends for a week. They were very helpful with setting up our golf cart rental, airport transportation, excursions, dinner reservations and stocking our room with our grocery requests. We loved all of their recommendations and they have done a very good job vetting the companies that they refer their guests to use. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. Marisol, Sophie and staff were top notch. We enjoyed Ashton Court's location. It was quieter and in more of a quaint area, rather than being closer to the Split, which has a lot more activity and is a more touristy part of the island. Definitely would recommend this to anyone who is planning a trip to Caye Caulker!

Property is pretty south on the south side. Newer place, that was beautiful. No resturant on site currently. Bar in lobby. Couple issues we had; the bathroom doors are sliding barndoor style- 6 inches in width to short on eachside leaving gaps...ours would not stay shut constantly rolling open. I brought this to the reception and owners attention immediately. Day 4 it was addressed, but only stayed shut half the time. Quite an issue when traveling with someone other than family. Doors are impossible to lock & unlock.. our room was left unlocked half the stay. Other issue was the snotty reception and her "towel" issues. You check beach towels out, return for new ones. After a torrential downpour we tried exchanging them to be scolded like children that "it hasnt been 24 hours yet". I also had to ask her for room towels as we were given 2 (for 3 guests).. This interaction was overheard by owner who did rectify it and told her to at least give us enough for number of guests. It was quite ridiculous. Also had "management" in our room unauthorized while we were out one day- we were told by another hotel guest. (Unrelated to fixing door). This is a nice place, quiet.. but a bit over priced for no privacy and to be reprimanded/stingy about towels!
