Boutique Hotel Villa Pattiera

It is unusual for me to go for 5 stars, or even more, as Villa Pattiera deserves on Day One of our 9 night break in beautiful Cavtat, Croatia, but I know that, here, perfection will only become more perfect as each day goes along. We visited Villa Pattiera for the first time in October 2024 and were delighted by this lovely, family-run boutique hotel. Even more amazed were we today when approaching the hotel, we were welcomed back by the team as if we were prodigal members of the family returning. All of the team from last year are here and every one of them, including the owner, has welcomed us back with open arms. We are staying on a half-board package so we have access to a pretty fine table d'hôte menu and we can also upgrade to à la carte and simply pay the difference. The food this evening (from table d'hôte) was simply gorgeous and we will, of course, be sampling à la carte during our stay. Our room is lovely and boasts all of the facilities, including a lovely balcony too. We cannot praise Villa Pattiera enough. Simply the Best! ******** 8 stars from Day One!!!

A Small, cosy, boutique hotel in the heart of Cavtat. What a wonderful location, our comfortable bedroom had everything we needed, a decent en-suite with plenty of hot water in the shower, and a lovely shuttered window opening out onto the town centre restaurants and harbour, right opposite the church. The shared balcony (only two rooms sharing) had room to sit, eat, play cards, sun bathe, read, or just watch the sun go down and the world go by. Don’t think that the location will be noisy, it’s surprisingly quiet and although you can hear the hubbub of the world outside, it doesn’t disturb sleep or an afternoon siesta. Breakfast / dinner offer good selections and staff are friendly and attentive. They will happily offer advice on travel or other arrangements and if you’re leaving early, they’ll make up a pack up so you don’t miss out. Although other hotels are bigger and have a pool and maybe offer more, they don’t offer the cosy feel and ideal base for exploring. The town centre is on your doorstep, the bus station less than five minute walk, this is a perfect to base yourself if you want to explore Cavtat or further afield. You’re ten minutes from the airport, half an hour from Dubrovnik or Montenegro… or, two minutes from a beer, cevapi or something more sophisticated.

Classic hotel in a delightful location We decided to stay in Cavtat simply because it's very close to Dubrovnik airport and we had a morning flight, however it ended up being an unexpected gem. The Villa Pattiera hotel was all old-school elegance, with attentive staff, comfortable rooms, a well-rated onsite restaurant, and a good breakfast buffet. As the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, parking is in the main town lot by the water, just a couple of minutes walk away.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Cavtat. Noise from the street and early, frequent church bells were somewhat disruptive. Service was exceptional at this family owned and operated premises.

They were very friendly and helpful. Location is great with a restaurant at the property that is excellent and near the other restaurants in the area.
