The hotel is located beside the beautiful Sal river. A little inside from the main road, hence no road side noise. We had booked normal room, but it's upgraded to cottage room due to some issue with the room we'd booked. The room we stayed was well maintained, only problem was the AC, as it's automatically set, at early morning its becoming super cold. I was unable to set it with the remote (not a big issue though). 0nly breakfast was available. The food was awesome. All the staff were very helpful. The beach, shacks, restaurants with live music and shops were just a walk away.

We stayed in one of the cabins overlooking the river. Very comfy large bed, daily cleaning and bedding change. Fridge , kettle, tea and coffee , plus bottles of water replenished every day. Fabulous, tranquil views of the river, bird life and local fishermen from the terrace. Breakfasts, good, local choices , plus toast, jam, eggs , fruit juice etc. Staff lovely and helpful, less than than10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach and restaurants. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Calm and peaceful location but facilities are not up to the mark for the price range. The staff is very polite and the service is good. Facilities specially room ac can be improved to make the stay more enjoyable. The property provides a decent breakfast but they have no restaurant. Food delivery was not available in the area but few walkable restaurants are nearby. Beach is walkable and not very crowded.

Our stay at sal riviera was ok. 5 stars for the property location but bad in terms of facilities and breakfast. Close to cavelossim beach just 5 minutes walk. Receptionist was very unsupportive, they really need to improve on front desk service. Overall it was below average stat

Приехали в отель около 13.00 Нас сразу заселили. Помогли с чемоданами. Домик 101. Просила поменять на домик с видом на речку- отказали. Все домики заняты были. В номере были: шампунь,гель для душа,увлажняющий крем,расческа, станок для бритья с пеной , мыло ручной работы апельсиновое. Жидкое мыло около умывальника. 2 бутылки воды по 0.5 мл. Пополнялись ежедневно,а также чай,кофе,сливки сухие и сахар. Девочки убирали номер ежедневно, влажная уборка и каждый рах и полотенец делали фигурки с цветами. Чайник,вентилятор,кондиционер все работало. Сотрудники отеля помогают во всем, что попросишь. Есть мини библиотека. Вид на речку и на восход солнца не описать словами. Каждое утро встречала рассвет с чашечкой кофе. Питание завтраки,нас устроили. Сок вкусный,хоть и из пакета. Много выпечки. Арбуз,папайя. Омлет или яичница.Сухие хлопья. Каждый для себя находил,что поесть. В крайний день было отключение света. Кондиционер замкнуло.Мы были расстроены. Но ребята молодцы быстро отремонтировали. Коротко о недостатках: полотенца для лица- новые, а большие - серые и постельное бельё тоже серое. Кусок дороги -щебенка , глина и нет света . Отдыхом остались довольны. Спасибо огромное всем работникам отеля.

Receptionist from salrivera denied checkin for one of three riverfront cottage rooms. When asked her reason for same she informed us she had allowed some russian in our booked cottage. We asked her to vacate them as we had booked the room for the same for which she said she cannot do it and instead was asking us to move in another garden view cottage. After a long wait of almost 2hours and much arguments and when asked for refund she eventually allowed us checkin.

Try to book cottages their doors open in front of river enjoy sunrise. Rooms are nearby river. Beach is 7 min walk from property

The cottages are really small - hardly any space around the bed. Was greeted with a terrible smell in the washroom the first time we entered (which they did make better after we complained. The staff are technically polite but lack warmth and are mechanical. They say they are running a business and therefore cannot accommodate any guest request. Average experience at best. Avoidable
