The Naturalist Beach Resort

Amazing gem in a beautiful location. Amazing place in Castara. Our room was directly on the beach. Amazing facilities and a wonderful host. Wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely return. This hotel and the host were the best part of our week in Tobago.

Beautiful Spot on the Caribbean Our balcony had a view of the beach. We could snorkel from the beach, and we were able to hire a young man to take us fishing and snorkeling at nearby beaches. It was a very relaxing stay. Good breakfasts! ATM didn’t accept our cards, so bring plenty of local cash.

Once you don't ever have to deal directly with Ancil, Naturalist is a great stay. If you ever had the unfortunate circumstance to have interacted with that individual I sympathize. Would have given 5 stars if my booking experience wasn't ruined by that rude and disgusting individual. Not sure if he treats all his guests in that deplorable manner, or reserves that attitude for Trinis only. Also not sure if he's the owner or a manager, nor do I care.. to anyone looking to book, call the front desk staff they are most friendly and the only saving grace in this review together with the comfortable and clean room.

Review of Hotel X:My experience at Hotel X was unfortunately far from satisfactory. We had booked a room with a sea view and received confirmation of our booking, but upon arrival at the hotel, we were assigned a room overlooking the garden instead. The staff claimed that this was the only available room for the price range we had paid for.What exacerbated our experience was primarily the unfriendly attitude of the staff throughout our stay. We did not feel welcomed or well taken care of. Additionally, the cleaning staff missed cleaning our room several times during our stay, making our experience even more inconvenient.In summary, despite having expectations based on the confirmed booking of a room with a sea view, we were disappointed not to receive it and by the unfriendly service from the staff. I would not recommend Hotel to other travelers.
