The Ridge

My husband & I recently spent 6 nights at The Ridge in a one bedroom ocean view unit overlooking Cascade Bay. The hospitality we received, starting with Teneille greeting us at the airport with our hire car and then guiding us to our accommodation and then, what a wonderful surprise greeted us when we arrived. The unit was fabulous with fantastic views, very clean and tidy with a lot of thought and care put into the unit to make it very comfortable plus a few extra nice touches (king size bed was very comfortable, beautiful linen, beach towels and picnic basket, the use of a mobile phone while on the island, a fully equipped kitchen and access to a laundry). The location was perfect with easy access to the wonders of Norfolk Island. I would highly recommend The Ridge to anyone whilst staying on this amazing and very pretty island. Thanks to our host Teneille and Phil for making our stay very memorable.

What an amazing find for the most beautiful accomodation on Norfolk Island. Stayed in a one bedroom ocean view studio for a week. A short drive from the town centre, The Ridge is situated in a very serene picturesque location with the most stunning morning views. The night skies are amazing to see from the lovely balcony area. Our studio had been renovated tastefully with quality furniture and fittings and offered beautiful toiletries. The king size bed was so comfortable and the linen manchester added to the comfort. The unit had everything we needed with a fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, picnic basket and a mobile phone for emergency use. We opted for the hire car which was a good size and quality car. No fuss with the collection and drop off at the airport. Owners Phil and Teneille were wonderful hosts that are very helpful and provided useful tips for preparing for our stay. Would highly recommend this accomodation for quality and value and one of the loveliest location we have stayed at. We will definitely return to The Ridge.

Rooms catered for our needs in a simple but elegant and comfortable way. Lovely Robert Gordon pottery and linens hopefully give an idea. Outlook with views of rolling countryside and the sea were what we were after, and needed, to completely relax and forget anything back home allowing us to just enjoy the peace and quiet, the clean air, birds out the back. Phil and Tenneille are to be commended for this property

An excellent place to stay and highly recommended For us, it was the personal touch that made our stay at The Ridge exceptional; from the linen sheets, to the fresh towels, to the bathroom accessories. Teneille is an excellent host who is friendly and welcoming. The view across the valley to the bay is wonderful and the location is perfect.

Perfect holiday accommodation. The Ridge is beautifully renovated and refurbished. Close to all Norfolk activity & scenic spots. Outstanding gardens and surrounds with a million dollar view.
