Leesville Lake is one of Ohio's premier lakes with over 1,000 acres of gorgeous water with a lake-wide 10HP limit making it a quiet and safe place for everyone to fish, kayak and swim. You can enjoy 2 free kayaks or rent a boat at the 2 local marinas. After a day on the lake, enjoy an evening cookout and a fire in the fire pit. Booked John’s cabin for a weekend getaway and it surpassed my expectations. The decor of the cabin was awesome. Had everything we needed from making coffee in the morning to grilling out on the large deck. The bed was super comfy too. Sitting by the fire was so enjoyable and very secluded from the other neighbors. We kayaked and fished and it’s very easy to put in on the beach. When I needed to contact John he was responsive in a timely manner! Would definitely recommend and plan on coming again sometime ! Thanks for a great weekend getaway, John. The lady approved as well.

We had a wonderful stay - the cabin was exactly what we wanted/expected with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We swam, kayaked, and hiked - the weather was beautiful too. In the evenings we enjoyed a fire and trying to catch fireflies. It was just as peaceful and relaxing and we thought it would be. We also enjoyed all the wildlife we got to see - especially the bird watching by the lake. Carrollton is adorable and we spent time there walking through the cute shops and even had tea at the Tea Room. John was very helpful with tips on activities and quick to reply to any questions we had. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we’ll hopefully be planning a trip back here soon!

Vaca getaway My husband and I were very happy to find this cottage near the town we lived in one summer. It was a great place to stay and be able to visit friends we hadn't seen for a while.

Perfect for a quiet getaway This is a wonderful property and we really enjoyed our time away. The peace and quiet was heavenly, and the cottage is just delightful. You can spend a few hours just taking in all the decorations! John is a great host, was available to answer all our questions and provided a ton of information that made our stay easy and just what a tired city couple needed. Next time we'll stay longer!

Perfect getaway The fishing cabin is adorable with a very comfy bed. The area is quiet and minutes from a beautiful lake. The owner was helpful and the place is very clean. We truly enjoyed our camp fire and had a great time!

Cozy Cabin, Quiet Setting The cabin is warm and inviting. All the supplies you need are provided…kitchen and dining ware, firewood, plenty of blankets. The area is very peaceful. All we heard was the sound of leaves rustling, birds chirping and the fireplace crackling. It’s a short walk to take in the beauty of the lake and surrounding trees.

Lovely cabin in the woods Loved this cabin with all the amenities. Beautiful setting. Private. A beautiful place to get away and disconnect. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
