Choose from hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing or just walking near the cabin along the Ammonoosuc River. Our cozy cabin can be your retreat! Good, there was a mouse in the cabin. Only 2 coffee cups for 3 people. There was no note book to tell about what is near, restaurants, things to do or see. No WiFi log in provided.

Cabin was adequate, but not properly cleaned. Floors were not vacuumed, dust and dead bugs on floors, food between couch cushions. Not the high standard of cleanliness usually present at VRBO sites.

Worth it for a quick stay Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. The beds are also not the most comfortable but as mentioned, it wasn’t too bad for just a short weekend trip. Great location and the river right behind the cabin is very beautiful.

It is located in a very beautiful place next to a relaxing river and the fall foliage was magical. There were a few shortcomings with the property and I understand that “rustic “ was an euphemism for them. There is some dust indoors that triggered som allergy, wifi signal was weak and unreliable, but the worst part were the noisy and uncomfortable beds, they need replacing.
