"The historic center of Carmona is a maze of narrow streets, in some streets cars barely pass, but once you reach the hotel it is a real gem! A historic house that recalls times gone by, lots of tradition, small but very clean rooms, excellent for a stopover on the way to Cordoba"

"If you are interested in art, culture, history, and authenticity, then La Casa del Pintor is for you. A wonderful location in one of Carmona’s characteristic narrow lanes, it is close to all the major sites, but also a quiet oasis for a relaxing siesta. The house is of traditional design and built around a charming central courtyard. There are six rooms, similar in character, and with well appointed bathrooms. We stayed in Granada, which was on the first floor - very comfortable and welcoming. Guests have the use of a roof terrace, two kitchens and three salons - all well equipped and full of antiques and eclectic furnishings. It feels like a home away from home, and quite unlike any other hotel we have stayed in. By far the best part of the stay was the warm welcome from Conchita and the really wonderful service from Eva. Eva came in every morning to prepare breakfast (a very Spanish spread), and to service the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went above and beyond to be helpful, including making a phone call for us, and leaving food out for us on the our last morning when we had to leave early. We felt very spoilt by her and we shall miss her! Highly recommended for history loving travellers."

"Kaunis huone mukava vuode ja upea - ja valtava - kylpyhuone. Huoneemme (numero 3) katseli kaunis neliö - melua aamulla, mutta ei ongelma myöhemmin. Ainoa negatiivinen oli, että saapuimme Palm sunnuntaina; kukaan hotellissa ei uskonut kertoa meille, että kaupungin keskusta oli suljettu juhlaa varten ja että meillä olisi 800 metriä kävelymatka päästä hotelliin. Selvä tarkistaa, mutta ohjeet olivat selkeät. Tämä oli viime yönä Espanjassa, mukava lyhyt matka Sevillan lentokentälle vuokrata automme."

"Soitamme varaukselle ja puhelinnumeroa käyttänyt nainen kertoo meille, ettei hän ole saatavilla ilman että hän olisi kertonut hänelle päivämäärän ja että hän ei myöskään tarvitse antaa meille selitystä .......
