The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa

Great and easy to book via trip.com. Good property but it’s a resort thus there’s resort fee and check out is subject to availability despite Bonvoy membership. Also note that we booked breakfast with the room but turned out we only have a daily breakfast credit of $44 which doesn’t quite make sense to us. Average single breakfast item on the menu is like $15-$18 and excludes coffee or drinks. Still need to top up at the end. Not great on that point. Otherwise great stay!

玩樂高樂園就選擇住在附近了，酒店比較新，早餐要去隔壁的喜來登吃。住這裏最大的優勢是可以從專屬的後門提前入園玩。

房間環境設施都很棒，如果帶孩子來樂高樂園玩累了選擇宿住這裡是一個不錯的選擇

Stayed at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa for a business trip and it exceeded expectations across the board. The property strikes the perfect balance between professional and relaxing. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable—ideal for getting work done and recharging after a long day. The bed and workspace setup were both excellent. Service was consistent and high-quality throughout my stay. Staff were efficient, professional, and respectful of time, which matters when you're traveling for work. Location is also a big plus—easy access to nearby areas, but still feels removed enough to unwind. Amenities like the pool, fitness center, and on-site dining made it easy to stay productive without needing to leave the property. If you’re traveling for business or liesure and want a place that’s reliable, comfortable, and well-run, this is a great choice. I’ll absolutely stay here again.

In a nutshell: Suite was large & filled with barely any furniture and the ones they had were damaged & dated - bed was so bad I had a backache! Mattress was ultra soft & springy - TVs worked so slow, had trouble logging into the 2 options!? Netflix & YT. That's all you get - Shower had a tub yuk! - balcony was tiny & no chair could face out! - furniture was broken - no microwave - walls filthy -sofa in living rm smelled dirty & was worn so bad you sank into it - LOUD as was by the service area outside! Lastly, it was 730AM the day we checked out (12pm is ckout) went downstairs & came back door was locked! My key was shut off! At 730am! My spouses key also was deactivated. Never had that happen at any Marriott. Then the premium view was of a parking lot, service area, electric tower & some hills. I don't mind the high price, if it's a lovely room but this was not. But this hotel/motel is one I will never return to. What a shame as I read such good reviews, but not sure why after our stay. But such a huge disappointment.

We came to Carlsbad for a quick overnight girls getaway. One of my best friends is going through chemo treatment and we just needed a fun day and night out. This was the first time staying at the Westin Carlsbad. A huge thank you to Jenifer who checked me in at the front desk for going above and beyond during my check-in. Upon hearing why we were there, she was able to move us to a junior suite in a higher floor with beautiful views of the ocean and resort. This room was very spacious, spotless and incredibly comfortable. It had a large patio and balcony. We wanted to spend as much time as we could in this beautiful room so after having dinner in Carlsbad Village, we went back, connected our Spotify to the sound bar and danced, laughed, and talked the night away. In the morning, we ordered room service and ate a delicious breakfast in our pajamas before checking out and heading to the flower fields. Thanks to Jennifer, she made this “girls trip” one of the best ones we’ve had. We are thankful for all the local recommendations she gave us and for making us feel very special and valued. Jenifer and the Westin did not disappoint and we will definitely be back!

I was impressed with the check in, and appreciate for the upgrade to the suites that has a gorgeous view of the ocean from balcony. It is very relax and enjoyable for a stay. Dinner at 20 Twenty restaurant is delicious and unforgettable that strawberry sorbet. Definitely I revisit this resort in the next time.

Stayed just one night with my husband and daughter for a concert at Frontwave Arena which is about 20 minutes away. Check-in was super easy and the gentleman behind the desk was super courteous. The valet was super quick and polite also, even when we needed to retrieve something from our vehicle. The room was super comfortable, especially the two king beds and large countertop in the bathroom. My daughter and I could both get ready at the same time. Breakfast in tue morning was FANTASTIC. I had an açaí bowl (the half is plenty for one person) and it had fresh berries and honeycomb.y husband had the French toast which also looked amazing. Highly recommend. We will most definitely be back.
