What a quaint and lovely B&B. It's located just outside the old town, but only a 5 minute walk to Place Carnot and the town centre. It's also walking distance to the Canal du Midi and the old walled city of Le Cite. There are only five rooms spread across the two floor so it felt private but there is a communal lounge room and outdoor pool area to mingle with the other guests. Some rooms overlook the pool area so I'd recommend one of those in summer. Breakfast was really lovely - so fresh and simple. The hosts are the best! Sadie and Joachim were so welcoming and friendly (and the two fur babies are just adorable). Would definitely recommend.

Described as ‘arguably the best B&B in the centre of Carcassone a stay at 45BB’ beats most top class hotels hands down. The French call B&B chambres d’hôtes and the hôtes or owners of 45BB extend a genuinely warm welcome whilst remaining professional and discreet at the same time. The property is elegantly furnished with interesting objets d’art which add a unique personal touch, and contributing to a very relaxed ambience. The pool courtyard provides an additional area in which to escape the buzz of the town and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, and everything was perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of both savoury and sweet options, all very fresh and typically French. We stayed for 2 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back!

Just back from the most wonderful stay at 45BB. Fabulous hosts who were so friendly, beautiful house (and pool) in a fantastic location, making it easy for us to walk to the Medieval walled city but also spend time in the Bastide Saint Louis. Lots of great restaurants and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day on the canal du midi. You certainly won’t be disappointed if you book to stay here - it has everything you could want.

Picked 45BB from its great reviews and inviting pictures, we weren't disappointed. It's centrally located and convenient for both parts of the town. On entrance the hallway itself is amazing leading to lovely accommodation. We decided to stay in the gite as we like a bit more space. It was amazing, clean, with a switch for everything. It was really quiet and you could choose whether to use separate entrance or simply walk across to the main accommodation. We chose to have breakfast which was plentiful, great quality and good value. The owners are lovely and integrate with you as much or little as you like. For a small charge they even collected us and dropped us back at the airport. Perfect. 🙂

Cuenta con una excelente ubicación, cerca de todo y accesible con un corto paseo a los lugares de interés. Ocupa un edificio del siglo XIX con decoración vintage elegante, creando un entorno confortable y tranquilo. Con solo atravesar la puerta de entrada, es la imagen de la piscina la que adquiere el protagonismo, transmitiendo una estampa de serenidad y belleza del jardín. Nos alojamos en la Suite, silenciosa, amplia, cómoda y bien equipada, con aire acondicionado y ventilador en el techo, sin embargo, el cuarto de baño resulta muy estrecho, de difícil movilidad y no está a la altura del resto de instalaciones. Sadie y Joachim, con discreción, están pendientes del huésped, para ayudar en lo posible. En los días calurosos, se agradece un tranquilo baño en la piscina tras las jornadas de visitas por la ciudad o un crucero por el Canal de Midi. Hay aparcamiento gratis en la misma acera, y de pago en el parque de enfrente o bien en el parking subterráneo Jacobins a 100 mts y con una tarifa de 7 euros por día (24 horas). El refinado ambiente, tranquilidad, comodidad y la amabilidad de los anfitriones han facilitado una relajada estancia muy agradable y que, sin duda, recomendamos.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Joachim, Sadie and little Juno were wonderful hosts. This boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful, a peaceful oasis, the rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely breakfast with plenty of fresh produce and a lovely, tranquil pool. It’s the little touches that make this place so special, not least the way Joachim and Sadie made us feel so at home and Joachim even picked us up from and brought us to the airport. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful city. This charming boutique hotel made this weekend away with my daughter very special.
