Tugawe Cove Resort

It was great stay except there are few cockroach in our bathroom, not too safe for small kids on the restaurant no safety reels , wish have big boat to go to this resort especially when there is huge waves and raining small boats shake too much and excellent staff

Extremely disappointed a lot of rooms have black mold furniture is broken bathroom sink was leaking leaving puddles on the floor staff not fluent in English lots of garbage and plastic bottles in the lagoon plastic and garbage on the beach staff sitting around with there face in their cell phones food leaves a lot to be desirable manager does not seem to deal with the overall appearance of the grounds and condition of the cabanas not very strict on check out times leaving guests waiting for over an hour for the boat ride going back to the port it’s a real shame such a beautiful peaceful place to see it spiral down to a state of disrepair

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est magnifique et le personnel est aux petits soins (même s’ils ne parlent que très peu anglais, ce qui rends les échanges compliqués). Les repas sont corrects mais le petit déjeuner est très limité, même pas de café… Nous sommes très loin d’un 4 étoiles et le rapport qualité/prix est très mauvais. Les cabanes sont vieillissantes, voir délabrées (on nous avait prévenu qu’un typhon avait endommagé une partie de l’hôtel mais même les cabanes qui n’ont pas été touchées ne sont plus en état). Il semble que l’hôtel a été laissé à l’abandon, sans être entretenu, les photos qu’on peut voir sur internet sont d’un autre temps… Cet hôtel est un 2 étoiles, éventuellement 3 si on tient compte de l’emplacement magnifique (nous avons d’autres 4 étoiles dans le pays et rien à voir…). Les prix devraient être adapté à la vétusté des infrastructures, nous sommes très déçu d’avoir dépensé autant d’argent pour ça (800 euros pour 2 personnes, 2 nuits, repas et activités comprises, c’est hors de prix pour les philippines et ce type d’hébergement). Autre bémol, on nous a demandé 6000 pesos pour l’aller-retour depuis le port (45’ par trajet). Encore une fois hors de prix pour le pays…

We adored our 3 day stay. The location is far prettier than any pics you will see on the internet. The beach is fantastic as are the infinity pools by the beach and the top of the hills with THOSE views. It is breathtaking. To be clear the rooms are dated and money needs to be invested to get them up to scratch (that said, the bed was ultra comfortable). But the location, views, food (excellent) and boat trips made for a fabulous time for us.

Love the staffs and the room. The whole property is beautiful, just needs a little fixing.

We had a wonderful time. We had a hillside room that was large & beautifully appointed. (Large CR with hot water) The staff was great & quick to respond to needs. The reception area & restaurant were lovely open areas with a soft breeze. The food was delicious, served quickly, all orders at the same time & warm. We walked down (&up again) 221 steps to the cove beach where there is a lagoon surrounded by more rooms & an infinity pool with a closeup view of the bay. We had a great time snorkeling & saw many corals & fish. We also enjoyed the upper infinity pool with a beautiful territorial view over the ocean. There are other beaches & activities, but we were only there for 1 day.
