"From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave everything and everyone is perfect. Our room (number 4) was enormous. It is basically one very large room with a lounge area and then the bedroom area and then the bathroom with a sliding door so it can be shut off. There are doors opening onto the garden and swimming pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is plenty of choice for breakfast with anything cooked freshly prepared. In summary a fantastic place to stay."

"The attic room was extremely noisy, with a lot of wind; those with poor sleep quality should avoid it. There were no toothbrushes, the toilet seat was broken, and the minibar wasn't free at all, making it very poor value for money. Its only advantage was its excellent location in a very safe area. Breakfast was basically just white food like toast, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The service was mediocre; the bellhops took our tip after unpacking our luggage and then let us carry it out ourselves – ridiculous! 😅 I was on my period and wanted to rest a bit longer, so we agreed to check out late and pay later, but they said I had to pay for half a day's stay and only until 3 pm – outrageous! They even called to urge me while I was packing."

"Ability to see the mountain if the room is facing that side. However, the room quite outdated with worn out not so clean cooking carpet. Worst disappointment kicked in when I found out they did not provide slippers. There was so any information beforehand. We would have made the effort to go to a store and buy room slippers or any sandals. It was absolutely gross to walk barefoot than going to bed with dirty feet. Second morning, during breakfast, I have a tote bag size bag on the chair that was easily visible. I went to get coffee and bread. My table was cleared despite having egg, cheese, jam and almond milk on my plate. If there was a HANDBAG on the chair that was out all the way, clearly the food on the plate belonged to that guest. EVEN if they "could" not see the bag, the person in charge could not find the person who cleared the table after asking all the wait staff and servers. Which was about 4 people. So the person who cleared the table could not take responsibility and could not openly honestly admit to her mistake. Disrespectful to a guest and disrespectful to her employer. How about a simple apology? I was told they were going to find out after checking the cameras."

"I came here with my family for my 3 days one of them was my birthday . I arrived here with 3 kids and 2 adults we had 2 rooms which were connected making it easier to be together as a family . The day of my birthday at breakfast I got a delicious piece of cake from the staff which was so sweet . This hotel also has a pool and spa the spa was extremely good and clean same with the pool . The food was great time spent well great memories ."

Our room was comfortable, the service was attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. A perfect choice for a quiet and memorable stay in Cape Town. We would gladly return."
