Stunning vineyard hotel in Cape Town. Beautiful property, with excellent restaurants, golf facilities. Very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Ein erstklassiges 5-Sterne Haus. Die ganze Hotelanlage ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch. Direkt nach dem fantastischen Frühstück waren die Zimmer bereits wieder vom Housekeeping gereinigt. Der Wäscheservice hat gut funktioniert. Der Swimmingpool mit Poolhaus ist sehr schön gestaltet. Im Restaurant Tryn haben wir hervorragend gegessen. Wir haben uns in den drei Tagen im Steenberg sehr gut erholen können. Es war die richtige Entscheidung kein Hotel direkt in Kapstadt zu buchen. Das Hotel bietet auch einen 20-Minütigen Shuttleservice zur Waterfront an, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Falls wir noch einmal nach Kapstadt reisen, werden wir wieder dort übernachten.

I wondered whether I should even share my experience, because the hotel is so unique and truly excellent hotels like this have become so rare. We first visited Steenberg Farm in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the hotel. With each stay, our time there kept getting longer, and this year marked our fifth visit. To our surprise, our loyalty was rewarded with a massive upgrade. We feel very save at the hotel, and the highly personal attention from the Steenberg crew has created a strong sense of connection. Staying at the Steenberg Hotel now feels like visiting friends, which makes saying goodbye each time more difficult. The hotel features two excellent and highly recommended restaurants. As part of the service, guests are offered complimentary transportation to and from restaurants within a 5-kilometer radius. As golf enthusiasts, we also appreciate that the Steenberg Golf Course is within walking distance. The course offers a great driving range, and EOGA provides golf lessons with outstanding golfpros.
