The Crystal Apartments by TPF

We booked a twin bedded room of which we had confirmation, but on arrival we were shown to a double bedded apartment, when I showed the confirmation to the chap he said ok we will take the mattress off and put on two singles, this was not acceptable. I asked it they had any other options and all they had was a two bedded apartment for an extra R10000 for four nights which we reluctantly accepted, ther is no air con in the smaller bedroom and the air con in the main bedroom did not work , this was reported on our first night but never fixed, also the safe did not work. The location is not ideal a long walk to the front and a hell of a hike back. There is ample parking on site and the pool area is nice. Would I stay again, probably not as it was so hot at night and we had to have the windows open, but at 6.30 am the builders next door started to arrive and the noise was horrendous.

11/10 Hardly have words to describe how beautiful it is at The Crystal Apartments. It's even nicer in real life compared to the pictures. We got a room on the first floor, and it was so beautiful waking up and walking straight out on our private terrace, having a view of Lions Head mountain. Camps Bay is also the best place to watch sunsets. Our apartment was HUGE, with a beautiful and social kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub. Also very nice staff, and it felt supersafe to stay here:) No doubt where I'm gonna stay next time I'm in Cape Town!
