Ein wunderbares., familiär geführtes Haus mit sehr viel Charm und einem fantastischem Service. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Beautiful place at the bottom of the mountain. Roof top terrace with fantastic views. Complementary bottle of wine in the room. Room cleaned and tidied every day. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Every morning after a gorgeous breakfast they would ask our plans for the evening and help with recommendations and lovely local restaurant bookings.

A lovely, picturesque guest house with magnificent views over Cape Town. Superb breakfast, beautiful room and really personal service. Extras like free soft drinks from the minibar were superb. Amazing way to visit the city without being in a big hotel. Highly recommended.

Abby Manor Guesthouse is so lovely. An older home with so many charming details. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet and hot menu choices. Delicious!! Table Mountain view from our window and the pool area. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Loved this place... located in a nice neighborhood (Orangejicht?) in Cape Town with quick access to everywhere, the building is well maintained with loads of charm and character! The staff, especially Anja and Mico were outstanding. We loved the little touches.. bedtime stories printed out each day. Another excellent feature was that there was no 'nickle and dime' stuff. The room came with loads of extras... soft drinks in the fridge, fruits in living room, delicious biscuits in our room each day... the list goes on... We would plant to (re) visit Cape Town only to stay here!

From the amazing external architecture and well kept grounds with pool to the exceptional unique rooms with great room service, special amenities, including heated tower racks with great views of table mountain, complementary wine, and a delicious bountiful breakfast we believe there is no better guesthouse in Cape Town than Abbey Manor. We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Abbey Manor. Perfect location; central enoigh to get around yet quiet at night. Amazing team and delicious breakfast! We will definitelty be back!

The Abbey Manor guesthouse has incredible views looking towards Table Mountain, which we could see from our bedroom and from the rooftop terrace. Our bedroom was beautiful with all necessarily amenities. The staff went to great lengths to look after us , booking taxis and advising on places to go. Thanks for that help Mico! The breakfasts were amazing! So much choice and good portions. There were complimentary drinks in the lounge each evening and everything about the Abbey felt relaxing and luxurious . We would love to visit again!

Inhabergeführtes kleines Luxushotel. Individualität trifft auf Ruhe in einem stadtnahen Villenviertel. Sehr persönlicher Service unter deutscher Leitung Wo findet man noch den sehr selten gewordenen Aufdeckservice (Turn-down Service) zum Abend im Zimmer? Hier. Großes Kompliment!

Eines vorweg: Ein Schnäppchen ist Abbey Manor nicht. Aber Qualität muss eben bezahlt werden. Und das, was Anja und ihr Team hier, in einem sehr schönen Viertel Kapstadts, auf die Beine stellen, ist in der Tat erstklassig. Sie führen ein nobles Gästehaus am Fuß des Tafelbergs, den man von der superben Dachterrasse bewundern kann - einschließlich des Blicks auf die sehenswerte Skyline Kapstadts. Wir hatten erst das Zimmer 4, bei dem uns der Blick von der Terrase auf eine Baustelle gestört hatte, und sind dann umgezogen in Zimmer 8, das uns mit eigener Terrasse gleich neben dem großen Pool sehr gefallen hat. Toll war das Frühstück mit super Eierspeisen, die frisch zubereitet wurden. Das Haus liegt etwas am Rand der City, was aber nicht stört, weil die Verbindung z.B. zur Waterfront mit Uber völlig problemlos und günstig ist. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Gästehaus. We thoroughly enjoyed a six-night stay during March 2025. The guesthouse is a lovely building set in absolutely stunning scenery with amazing views of Table Mountain and the city. Breakfasts were excellent, great selection and high-quality food/cooking. The staff were excellent and a call out for Miko for whom nothing was too much trouble, from informed conversations about the city to great suggestions for things to do and restaurants (including making reservations) – thanks so much. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus in einer schönen Gegend von Kapstadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht!

We stayed at this luxury hotel for 3 nights during our recent trip to Cape Town. Perfectly located in a safe, residential area at the foot of Table Mountain, the hotel is a perfect base for exploring Cape Town and surrounding areas. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very clean. Our room was actually a seperate bungalow which was very spacious and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served both inside and on the pool terrace with amazing views of Table Mountain. V&A Waterfront is just 4km away (approx 5 usd by Uber). We will be back again soon!!!

Abbey Manor is a jewel amongst boutique hotels. The location is safe and quiet - a bit of the beaten track but easily accessible with Uber. It is an 30 min walk to the Cable Way on the main road (short cut does not seem advisable if walking solo). From the roof terrace one has a fabulous view of the entire mountain range. The cottage room has pool view, is spacious and elegantly decorated. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They provide tips to the city and make each guest feel special and welcome. Complementary soft drinks and aperitifs are available in the lounge room. Each evening, guests are given bed time stories narrating legends of the region - a very nice touch. Breakfast is plentiful and of great quality. I can't recommend Abbey Manor highly enough. I was able to get the cottage for only EUR 124 per night. I was well worth the money.
