This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium. Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

Wonderful four days spent in the One and Only. Superb location, exceptionally friendly staff, amazing breakfasts, and a room with a view to die for. Thoroughly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Cape Town

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus liegt mMn sehr gut, da die Lage ruhig und dennoch in direkter Nähe zur Waterfront ist. Hotelanlage ist auch ganz besonders, weil es durch die Poollandschaft ein gewisse Großzügigkeit vermittelt. Personal ist super drauf und sehr service-orientiert. Massagen waren alle sehr, sehr gut! Für uns eine extrem gute Erfahrung. Absolute Empfehlung. Zimmer war übrigens eine Suite auf der ersten Etage. Diese war wunderschön, sehr groß und hochwertig.

Beautiful hotel with large rooms and exceptional food and service. A lot of items to choose from at the breakfast buffet and Nobu was fantastic for dinner. Would highly recommend and am looking forward to returning and also future stays at other One & Only properties.

The best hotel I ever stayed in my life. It was a bucket list hotel for me so my expectations were very high but I knew I was in for a treat when we checked in and the kids had a handwritten welcome card from the hotel general manager with four sweet jars waiting for them… All staff are super friendly with the kids and genuinely interested about them but the highlight to me, at evening turndown it’s not just the adults that get an extra treat but also the kids as the hotel staff put in their room teddies and bedtime stories labelled with their names! Pure magic!!! It’s luxurious but not pretentious, modern, family friendly, the facilities are amazing, the pool is gorgeous and heated, staff is super friendly, breakfast have endless options, the location is fantastic. Ah and the most amazing room with a view. What a view to Table Mountain! I'm a Travel Counsellor in the UK and I have been to many nice hotels in the World but this hotel is one step ahead to exceed customer expectations to a level that I never came across before. The attention to detail is extreme. Personal. It’s an attraction by itself and it was a dream come true for me. Hopefully we will return one day. Thank you and now I can't wait for my clients to experience this fabulous hotel.

Lucky for us, our apartment for our family stay in Cape Town was right next to the one & only hotel Cape Town - as a result we frequented the hotel several times during our stay quite simply because the service was so good, the hotel was beautifully decorated & so comfortable and the food was divine whether we dined in the bar or in Rooi restaurant- we ate here for 3 out of 6 dinners in Cape Town - staff were so welcoming every time - highly recommend the cocktails in the bar - Rooi restaurant is another big recommendation … stunning restaurant with amazing service and food to die for - very special experience - if on Cape Town I would definitely put it on your list you won’t be disappointed.

This is a 5 star hotel - well appointed rooms, excellent service and ideal location at the V&A Waterfront and views of Table Mountain. Attention to detail including little touches such as welcome gifts for the kids was outstanding. It is safe to walk around the waterfront area even at night. The heated outdoor pool was a hit with my kids. This is an excellent hotel.

Everything is beautiful and Lovely. I would love to visit again in future and recommend to family and friends.
