Wow what a wonderful place to stay. The most stunning view of table mountain. The room was very clean spacious comfy had everything you needed. The kitchen and lounge area was great felt like home. Great cafe to get coffee. Can also get breakfast if required. Would definitely recommend.

Great little family friendly hotel ideally located for exploring the Bo Kaap area of Cape Town. The hosts were welcoming and very coating allowing us the continue using the facilities after check out but before we needed to leave to catch our flight

Casa del Sonder is family owned Boutique Hotel in the BoKaap District of Cape Town, in easy walking distance of the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the equally popular Long and Kloof Streets full of Bars and Restaurants. The hotel address on Hudson St, is in a very quiet location and conveniently right opposite a Police Station so security comes with the location. The Hotel has a small Café on the Ground Floor and six Guest Rooms on the upper floors, the spacious rooms are well appointed with en-suite facilities good showers and Kingsize or Twin Beds. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace (seasons weather permitting), the Breakfast selection is the usual Fruit, Yoghurt, Cereals etc and a Hot Breakfast selection cooked to order, all very nice. The staff and the owners are really helpful and knowledgeable on all things ‘Cape Town’ and happy to help with Restaurant Bookings, Directions and the inside track on all manner of Tourist and ‘Local’ information. Michelle ‘one of the owners’ was easy to contact and very timely with all sorts of email replies to my many questions from time of booking to day of arrival. Just what you need as an ‘independent’ traveller. Casa del Sonder is a lovely place to stay in a great location.

The host was wonderfully helpful. I broke my leg the first night we were there and she assisted us in all possible ways. Her help was much appreciated. Location and accommodation were great. Felt safe and secure. Beds were lovely (very important)

Sehr schöne und kleine Unterkunft mit hervorragendem Frühstück in sehr sicherer Lage gegenüber der Polizei. Die Dachterrasse war perfekt zum Frühstücken und entspannen. Das Frühstück wird vom Personal in der auch für Gäste zugänglichen Küche frisch nach Bestellung zubereitet was einen sehr familiären Flair mit sich bringt. Der Service war absolut top!

Cozy, comfortable home style lodging. Great area, centrally located and everything needed ie good wifi, hairdryer and laundry service etc.. Friendly staff. A good base to explore `Cape Town from.

Lovely Place to stay in Capetown with a very magnificent view upton Table Mountain and Lions Head. One could not be happier to chose this casa.

We had two nights here at the end of our South Africa trip. The property is very nicely decorated and we parked our cars safely as it is opposite the police station. Chase was very helpful and checking in was painless. Unfortunately because of poor weather we never got to try the rooftop bar and pool but I bet they would be great in good weather. Breakfast was lovely and a good choice of things, very helpful and pleasant staff. The Bo Kaap area is lovely and feels safe during the day but I wouldn’t recommend walking it at night, drive or get an Uber if you don’t want constant hassle.
