The room, location, service, breakfast and homely experience are unparalleled. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a home from home experience. Shirley and the team are exceptional - nothing too much. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Very friendly staff and owner, they went out of their way to accommodate all our requests and make the stay comfy and suitable (adjusted a lot of things for 3 babies). the food is great, the views are spectacular, and the pool is all worth it.

My stay has been WONDERFUL!! Shirley, the owner, is beyond measure the greatest host. Her love, care and generosity is so evident in every area of this stunning boutique hotel. The joy and warmth in every staff member shows! I was spoilt with a two-night stay in a suite!! The views, the tranquility, the peacefulness is really special. I would recommend CLRENDON BANTRY BAY to holiday makers, business visits, families - in fact EVERYONE!!!

Could not fault this hotel. Staff were amazing, the food was excellent, the rooms were big and very clean and the view was unbelievable.

My wife and i were in Cape Town for our anniversary. We were staying somewhere else which was substandard. We moved to Claredon for the weekend, which was such an absolute treat. Look forward to returning soon to Claredon only

I could go on and on, firstly I was greeted with a lovely smile on the faces of each and everyone of the staff, nothing was too much to ask of them, and could not ask for more from them Shirley French, the owner ran around making everyone feel so welcome in her beautiful hotel, it felt like you were being welcomed in to her home. I would recommend staying here, not only for the incredible views from the balcony, but the fantastic breakfasts they offer and lunch around the pool area, it is sophistication and elegance that is what is required by any resident that has the the opportunity to enjoy at the Clarendon Bantry Bay👍🏻♥️

We spent 3 nights at The Clarendon Bantry bay. The time we arrived we were met by a manager and got warm welcome. Check in went smoothly. Our room was absolutely amazing with sea view and large terrace. We were able to sleep with all the windows and doors to the terrace open. There is comfortable parking infront of the entrance. The staff was very friendly. We will definitelly come back!!!

My stay at Clarendon Bantry Bay was absolutely incredible.The sea views were spectacular.The decor throughout the property is stunning. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The food was impeccable and delicious. They have an amazing bar and make the most incredible cocktails.I highly recommend booking your stay at the Clarendon Bantry Bay. As it is a once in a lifetime time experience.

This Hotel is stunning and faultless The view is outstanding looking out on the ocean The staff cannot do enough for you It is well priced And I would say it’s a hidden jewel but near to everything Car parking is available Rooms are so well designed and spacious Cannot recommend this highly enough Can’t wait to go back

A lovely choice to stay in bantry bay. The views from the bedroom (room 13) were spectacular over the ocean. This hotel is run with great taste by the owners who are on site much of the time to ensure everything is running as it should. Excellent staff who cannot do enough to please. Lovely breakfast selection - plentiful buffet and menu options also included. Lunch salads can be ordered on request and delivered to the pool if required. Tea and home made cake in the afternoon. The pool area is very nice - 8-10 beds with towels and parasols and a spotless pool. A 15 minute walk into sea point centre which has great shops and amenities. Downhill on the way there so uphill on the way back. You might want to take an Uber back! All in all a great stay and would recommend.

Lovely hotel slightly let down by some staff This is a beautiful hotel with spacious and well appointed public areas and bedrooms. The hotel has an interesting range of art and the furnishings are of the highest quality. There was a very good choice of food at breakfast and it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the Bantry Bay views. The swimming pool is small but just the ticket to cool off after a busy day out. We were disappointed by our initial reception at the hotel. The receptionist was busy serving drinks to other guests and taking phone calls. We were asked to sit and wait while she busied herself for around 10 minutes and were not offered an apology or any refreshment while we waited. The other receptionist was much more professional and gave us some excellent dining suggestions and was genuinely interested in our day. This inconsistency between staff was also apparent in the waiting staff at breakfast time and is why I haven’t given the Clarendon a full five star review. However, a lovely hotel which I would recommend.

Thanks for making us to love Cape Unforgettable experience in Cape Town. Great service at the hotel. Very quiet, safe and secure. Good advises from the staff. From the balcony we watched for 30min.whales in the ocean. Very kind waiters and maides. Room was perfect. Air conditioning 10/10.

We arrived at The Clarendon with a very warm welcome and immediately the view out to the Ocean was unbelievable. They very kindly had our room ready even though it was 10am after an early landing flight. The room was so comfortable and had a balcony with the amazing view. We stayed 4 nights and all members of staff were outstanding especially Rodwell and Brighton. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
