Caprice Camps Bay

We went to Café Caprice for breakfast. It is on the main road in Camps Bay about 6kms/4miles from Cape Town city centre. The restaurant was about 75% full, however the service although good could have been a lot better. My wife had the Eggs Royale which she really enjoyed. I ordered the Smashed Avo on Toast and 2 poached eggs which was ok. The service was average. What was unacceptable was that they had to search for toothpicks which they finally found & they did not have tabasco.

As Overseas Tourists we came in yesterday for a table for a meal and drinks. The hostess was rude and pushed us to the bar saying she would sort a table. 3 hours later after multiple attempts to let her know we were still ignored. Finally a table came available and after waiting 30 minutes to be served at that table we left. We felt that because one person was Special Needs , we obviously didn’t fit in with the other beautiful people and was excluded because of the person with us. Obviously she didn’t want our $$$$ so we went down the road and spent our money elsewhere. They were pretty happy for us to spend our money with them. Thank you Zenzero for your awesome service and the most amazing meal. Service was 5 Stars 🌟
