Booked 7 nights at the resort. Left after 6 The first 5 were pleasant. Other than breakfast there were no other options available. One had to walk a few minutes to the main street to local restaurants. We were told it was the off season so everything was shut.
The 5th evening though was when disaster hit. A group of 12 noisy individuals occupied rooms around us. There was much yelling and screaming on all sides. There seemed to be no staff to try and curtail the noise. I finally ventured out of the room as they all now descended into the pool just outside our balcony. I sujjested that while they could have fun, they might like to tone it down a bit. It lasted 5 minutes before the cacophony started again. We decided to leave and proceed for dinner. We returned late. While they were out of the pool, the partying carried on in the rooms. Doors were banging closed and music and singing blaring. I called the front desk several times to ask if the neighbours could tone it down a bit, but there was no answer. I tolerated it until midnight, when I tried to contact the staff again, but there was no answer. I then called the owner Tony, who I had met previously but there was no answer inspite of repeated calls. Well the ruckus settled after 3 am. No sleep at all. We then cut short our stay and left. What surprised me was there seemed to be no professional response from the owner or the staff. On leaving I was requested by the front desk for payment of their commission that they owed
