"The biggest advantage of this place is undoubtedly the swimming pool (without a footbath) inside the family-friendly village, which is why I chose it with three grandchildren. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. A nice bonus is the option to have the beds made upon arrival and receive a set of four large towels for an extra €7. Parking is somewhat difficult. The dining room lacks storage space for groceries and/or personal belongings (fine for 4 people, more limited for 5 or 6). The basic appliances are good, but the crockery is very limited for a family. Naturally, with good weather, we ate outside on a small grassy area, separated by a few paving stones and hedges, in front of each unit (table, chairs, and parasol). There are two nice bedrooms upstairs, but be aware of the steep stairs. The bathroom has a bathtub, a narrow toilet, and a sloping ceiling. It's possible to sleep on the ground floor, unfortunately in the entrance area, which offers no privacy. Sleeping arrangements: 2 bunk beds. Bathroom without a window but a nice shower area. Toilet also very narrow, with no toilet paper holder or shelf. Family-friendly village made up of small individual houses with garden space and hedges. Beautiful beaches and sites accessible by car."

"We took a room for 2 nights with breakfast included, 30-minute access to the sauna and 2 small glasses of cider, via Wonderbox. When booking (August 2023), apart from the fact that the sauna was under repair (at that time), we were not told that we would not have access to it. So we arrive at the hotel, when collecting the keys, a cold welcome, then we are told that access to the sauna is no longer included in the Wonderbox offer, but that instead, there is a 10% discount on treatments, which is no longer the same thing at all. Basically instead of having free sauna access (20€), we are given a discount of 2€ and 18€ to pay. Obviously we are unhappy, but we go to our room anyway. There, very small room, with a dead insect on the floor which remained there throughout the stay and which is certainly still there. Despite the passage of the household. For our part, we immediately contacted Wonderbox to express our dissatisfaction and they made a commercial gesture. But we don't find this normal either. We therefore return to reception to express our dissatisfaction and explain that, commercially speaking, a commercial gesture would have been the minimum. There, change of scenery, we come across a haughty manager who explains to us that the contract has been renegotiated and that Wonderbox customers have nothing to complain about, because they don't pay the same thing. So, we still asked for our cup of cider, which if we hadn't asked for it, we wouldn't have had it. Obviously, on the first day, we were very disappointed and feared the rest. On Wednesday, another person at reception, big difference, very friendly person and nothing to do with the other 2. Decent breakfast. The sequel went well, but we don't recommend it. Because Wonderbox customers are not considered at all like other customers."

"Lovely stay at the Metarie Du Vauhariot. We had two rooms across from each other on the top floor, which was a perfect arrangement for our family. Check in was very personal. Comfortable rooms and the blackout shades made them very dark. Nice beds. Highly recommend!"
