Super 8 by Wyndham Canandaigua

I was. Charged $275.00 for 1 night stay Nasty dirty hotel hallways were disgusting would rather stay in my car then ever sleep here again.

Dreckig, alles voller Sperrmüll, Chaos. Die Mitarbeiter waren inkompetent und unfreundlich. Es würde Frühstück gebucht und bezahlt. Es gab aber keins.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our stay here was unacceptable—especially for the price we paid: over $230 for one night. For that amount, I expected at least a clean, comfortable room. Unfortunately, what we got was the exact opposite. There was other people’s hair in the bathtub, and the room overall felt dirty and poorly maintained. The refrigerator smelled awful, like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The bedding was dingy, and instead of real pillows, we were given small square couch cushions that made sleeping almost impossible. The carpet felt damp and left the bottoms of our feet nearly black with dirt. The hair dryer didn’t work and literally fell off the wall when touched. And the towel bar came off in our hands when we tried to hang up a towel. By the time morning came, I was anxious to get out of there—we couldn’t pack up fast enough. This room felt unsanitary, uncomfortable, and neglected. For $230+, this was a complete waste of money. I’ve stayed in budget motels that were far cleaner and better maintained. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere until this property seriously improves its standards. The only up-side was the convenience of location in proximity to CMAC where we attended a concert.

a TERRIBLE stay - 11 things were wrong, have pictures. Contacted the hotel and Corporate Wyndham and because we stayed - too bad. air conditioning, television, lock on door - didn't work. Someone from office fixed the tv at 11:00 at nite and had no comment about the air or door. the knob for the shower came out of the wall and it needed to go back in to shut water off. light by door did nothing, no chair, curtain was ripped and handing off rod, dirty towel behind door. Called hotel about this - well everything is working now. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ON LINE. This also says breakfast - there is a tiny muffin and coffee. Parking lot is a mess with many hole and cleaned up any.

The bed was the only good thing about the stay. The desk staff was barely understandable and unwilling to help resolve problems.

I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world. This rates right up with The worst hotel I’ve ever been in. The room was an absolute nightmare. Let me start with mold on the bathroom walls peeling paint, and dead bugs on the walls . The rug on the floor was wet and smelly. The room had a musty nasty smell to it. The shower curtain rod looked like a two year old installed it. Highly recommend you stay elsewhere when in Canandaigua.
