Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa

Muy buen hotel, cómodo, limpio y bien ubicado. Personal muy muy amable y te ayudan si tienes ciertas dudas.

The hotel weirdly gave us an “upgrade” to the apartment which is not that nice, modern and clean (there were bugs in the bath tub and hair in the drawers) as you can see in the first 2 pics but of a higher price. When we asked to change back to the room we booked, we staff wouldn’t just help us changed the room and had acted very weird as if we are not entitled to the room… This one particular staff (senior manager I believe) gave us “one final chance” as she said, and made us go up and down to check the room to make sure we “will not regret it” which makes no sense to us at all.

대부분 독일인들이 보였고 동양인은 저희밖에 없어서 오히려 좋았습니다. 수영장도 두세개정도 되고 리조트 관리가 잘 되는거같았습니다. 발코니에서 보는 전망이 좋고, 바로 걸어서 나가면 앞에 상권이 있어 식당 상점들이 많고 해변이 가깝습니다. 잘 쉬다 왔습니다!

Wir sind als Familie im Oktober im Gran Vista Hotel gewesen. Unser Fazit ist : im allgemeinen ein schönes Hote, was nahe am Strand liegt und viele nette Gaststätten die ringsherum gut zu Fuss zu erreichen sind!! Gebucht hatte ich es wegen den schönen Pools die aber leider sehr,sehr kalt waren🙃 auch im Innenpool konnten die Kinder nicht baden da es nicht warm genug war.Dagegen im Spa Bereich ein schöner warmer Pool war ,doch da dürfen die Kinder nicht mit rein ,wir hatten Glück das das Wetter gut war und wir im Meer baden konnten . Das Frühstück war reichlich und viel Auswahl es muss keiner Hungern ,doch wer Wert auf Qualität legt ,sollte woanders buchen . Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit es war sehr sauber und immer toll geputzt!! vielen Dank an das gesamte Team !!wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub ☀️ 😉

We came to Can Picafort in Majorca for a relaxing week away, with the location being chosen as TUI fly out of Teesside airport, my local airport.I searched through lots of hotels and finally chose the Grupotel as it claimed to have a Spa, exercise classes and entertainment in the evening. My wife and I were not disappointed. The swimming pool was a bit cold so we checked out the Spa which was superb - sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi plus a small pool. We both took part in the exercise classes. me aged 74 and my wife 3 years younger - only about 10 took part! The adult entertainment started at 9pm with most of the few children going to bed (September so most children at school. We would avoid at the height of the season as we prefer an adults-only hotel). We did swim in the pool but it was a bit cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. One pair we met told us about the bar on the 6th floor open to the stars. This bar was a true highlight with entertainment and dancing. The walk down to the beach was through a string of shops. The beach front had endless restaurants and bars. The beach was packed out with the waves crashing in. We didn't lay on the beach and we just like to watch. We walked each way along the promenade with one direction going past numerous stone statues. We walked around 5 each day. We missed out on catching buses to various villages. The charge works just like London Underground we now know.

Service de chambre au 5 eme très gentille et serviable je ne recommande vraiment pas cet hôtel peu représentatif du charme et gentillesse de Majorque . Réception dit toujours oui oui oui mais rien n’e suit ds les faits bien dommage .

Super hotel, the food was very good, but sometimes was a little cool and the microwave was too small for the plate to fit into. Great entertainment and the staff were so nice. Would definitely return but I would ask for a room without sun in the morning because it was so bright and the curtains were no good as black kouts.

I liked everything, bed, bath, breakfast, cleanliness, staff at the restaurant, the food, the facilities, the location. They have internal swimming pool that allow us to play with kids protected from any bad weather, staff extremely helpful and happy to serve.

I visited this hotel with a long time friend for a week's break from the humdrum of working life in England. Pleased to say neither of us were disappointed. Beautiful hotel, great location, close to the beach and the local shops, loads of restaurants and able to get a bus to other parts of the island. Room was a twin pool facing room. Spacious, lovely view over the pool area and grounds, which were green and covered in palm trees and greenery. Loads of sunbeds, so no problem there regardless of the time you decided to go to the pool to relax. Buffet breakfast was amazing and plentiful, only negative was that they do not provide fresh orange juice or any fresh juice, just concentrated sweetness from a machine. I watered mine down with the water to make it a bit easier to drink. Evening entertainment was provided and was pretty good for a hotel, even though we only sampled on a couple of nights. We went to the rooftop bar, which was also really lovely and you got a great view over the town and the setting sun in the evenings. Hotel was clean, spacious, easy to navigate and the staff were lovely. All of the staff, reception, cleaning, mealtime etc were polite, friendly and made the stay enjoyable at all times. Unable to comment on the spa facilities as we did not use them. Negatives (possibly for some):- people have complained about the beds in other reviews. My friend found his bed too hard, however, for me it was fine so I think it is personal preference. I did find the one pillow too soft but there were additional pillows in the wardrobe so I used another one and it was much better. Air conditioning was absolutely fine for the time of year. We kept it on all night and it kept the room cool. Maybe in the height of summer, it would not be enough. Shower did tend to run cold, warm, hot on a rotational basis whilst you were in it, so you never knew whether you would be frozen, fine or scalded, but we managed, and it was not a major issue. The hotel does tend to cater more for the German visitors rather than any other nationality. This was more an issue when it came to the TV in the room as the English channels were not available, even though on the TV. It had minimal Spanish channels and mainly German. This may be something the hotel want to look at. We did not spend much time in the room, but when wanting to relax in the evening, it would have been nice to pop the TV on and see if there was a film or something to watch. Overall though, an amazing break, in a lovely hotel. Not sure we will be back, but this no reflection on the hotel, more that we like to travel to different places. If we did go back to Mallorca however, we would definitely consider the hotel as it is worth it!
