Zafiro Mallorca & Spa

Very nice hotel, great garden, fun pools, spacious rooms. Good choice for families. We stayed here for 11 days with our children aged 1&6. The rooms offer separate bedrooms and kitchenettes so you can easily go for HB and prepare some light lunches in the rooms. Overall we had a pleasant stay (despite having few days of rain which created a challenge). 1. Pictures on Tripadvisor are mixed up with the 2nd Zafiro hotel in Can Picafort. It’s worth checking the rooms on the hotel site to avoid a surprise (as I did). 2. The garden suite rooms are definitely not worth the money. Also avoid ground floor rooms from the street side - the hotel has a big problem with cats on the promise, who poop in your garden all the time. We had to change our room because of this, but the hotel staff handled it very professionally. 3. The private pool rooms are amazing. Though you still have to chase away the cats. 4. Standard suites are also very good. The pool side is definitely the better choice. 5. You can rent a pram at the hotel! 6. Rooms next to the restaurant on the outside are noisy from the road. 7. There is an amazing playground for kids. Generally I became a fan of the Zafiro brand and would recommend this hotel to friends.

We'd like to start off by saying a special thanks to Orianna of the entertainment team. She made our 3 yr old feel so welcome that it made the whole holiday so memorable. She was full of fun and the kids loved her. She always made us feel welcome during the kids activities and you'd feel very at ease if you want to get a few bits done while the little ones are in the activity classes. We were a family of 2 adults, a 3yr old and a 9month old, we're from Ireland. The cot was perfect and the high chair is a good IKEA one. We let the kids stay in the bedroom and we slept on the pull out couches in the sitting room. It was actually very comfortable. Aircon is great. We stayed in a self catering apartment. Now it'll be a little difficult to cook a big dinner there but for breakfast and lunch it's ideal. You are walking distance to all restaurants and beach front and a big Aldi. The hotel grounds are stunning. The work that goes into keeping the place clean every day is incredible. The gym is also grand, not big but has plenty of dumbbells, a barbel few treadmills etc. it's nice and quiet in the mornings. The staff were all fantastic. Welcoming and easy to deal with. We thought about going full board for a few days but really, the "All you can eat" buffet wasn't as good as the local restaurants. The best thing is to try a different restaurant every night. We didn't go to one bad one. A really nice feature of this hotel is the key fob that is a wrist bracelet. You never need to worry about bringing a key card. The bracelet gives you access to everywhere and puts the drinks and food on your room. Finally, if you're using the app to book a massage do it as soon as your get there. It's a little buggy so even though it says there are free spots there likely isn't. You request an time then they send you back a list of the free times. Anyway, all in all, it was a great holiday and one we'll definitely go back to.

Urlaub für die ganze Familie!!! Alles super, tolle Kinderbetreuung, nettes Personal und super Abendprogramm. Für jeden gibt es was zum Frühstück und Abendessen und die Poolbar war auch super. Vor allem das Abendprogramm war spitze!!! Das Zimmer war in Ordnung nur die Schlafcouch hätte gemütlicher sein können.

A 40ish age couple, we usually look for adult only hotels, but this family hotel seemed too good to pass by. We booked a penthouse room with plunge pool for a very good price. The upstairs area was very nice and we also had a very spacious balcony off the living room. Upon reflection we would have been as happy in a normal 1 bedroom apartment as there was a very nice and quiet over 18s pool area. The bed was the comfiest I have ever experienced in a hotel. The bathroom had both a bath with body shower and a very spacious separate walking shower. It was also handy having the vanity area with sink, mirro and power sockets. The kitchen area is nice and compact with a decent size fridge which could fit beers, milk, bottles and more. The toaster and microwave were also convenient. We were B&B only, but ate in the a la Carte area twice and the food was excellent and the prices were comparable to outside the hotel. The wristband system was very convenient, it was a key to our room, scanned to put food and drink on our bill and also to get into breakfast. The drinks prices were also very reasonable, if not a little cheaper than down the town/seafront. Location wise, it is 5-10 min walk to the shops, restaurants and seafront. Having visited other nearby areas, I am glad we chose this location for variety. The bus stop was only 5 min walk aswell. We hired a car for the day to visit Palma, we booked through reception, the car was dropped off and picked up at the hotel. It was reasonably priced Ford Focus sized car for 85 Euro. Upon reflection I may have booked a car through my travel agent before arrival for the week. We enjoyed the yoga, pilates and aquafit sessions each day between 1100-1300. The entertainment was quite basic, but the other kids seemed to enjoy them. It wasn't too loud so we were able to enjoy the seating areas at the same time. The staff were very friendly and efficient which showed all throught the hotel with its cleanliness and nicely kept garden areas, the morning after rain and wind there was a whole team tidying up the pool areas before opening.

All great, all you can ask for Autumn half term. Staff in full readiness to the last day incl evening activities. Super food, staff friendliness and support on highest level , Maria from reception great friendly human person. Wishing all the staff fantastic winter break.

Sadly the pools were freezing, far too cold to swim in. Only went in once during our weeks stay! Was not expecting that ☹️ Staff are great. Hotel complex well laid out. Rooms not very sound proof though. Could hear people above us flushing the loo & scraping chairs about, plus children/babies crying in the middle of the night!
