"The TV was on when we entered the room, so we didn't realize the power button on the remote was broken, and the TV itself had no buttons. We ended up staring at a glowing TV at 2 AM and had no choice but to call the front desk. The front desk staff's attitude wasn't great, and they didn't even apologize. The air conditioning in the entire building was broken, and the front desk chose not to inform us in advance, even acting self-righteous when we called. There were wasps in the room before we opened the window. We couldn't open the gym door with our room key and had to ask the front desk for access. Overall, I'd say you'd probably have a better stay asking on Xiaohongshu if you could rent a student dorm at the nearby Girton College."

"The staff were nice and very helpful. The location is right next to the station which is very convenient. Beds are comfy. There is easy access to shops and restaurants. The main disadvantage for us was that there are no safe or mini fridge in the room. We needed a medicine to be kept refrigerated and whilst the staff was very kind and kept it in the fridge at the bar for us, it meant having to go down in the middle of the night just to get it and put it back in the fridge, which was a bit inconvenient."

The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city."

This hotel is only a few years old, but the cleanliness really needs to improve. I found cockroaches in the bathroom, and there were stains on the table and biscuit crumbs under the sofa. It would be much better if the cleanliness could be improved."

The room is spacious and clean."

The breakfast is delicious, and you can order à la carte. The à la carte menu is so good it barely tastes like British food! Another great feature of the hotel is that they have a few vintage Bentleys, which they offer for a complimentary one-hour tour."
