Extensive work being carried out meant noise throughout the hotel.
Every time we needed reception we had to wait for staff to return.
On the plus side, the restaurant staff were excellent.

The staff was nice, but the night was super expensive, for a broken spa and a lot of noises from the renovations they were doing. We weren't notify of this neither compensated

Lovely location, but many issues : *No adult pool, love the kids, but screaming kids all day poolside, not relaxing * only buffet option at restaurant, food was not 4 star hotel, 2 maybe * pool not big enough for amount of guests, not near enough loungers * for check in, staff should bring luggage to room - although there is a ramp, and steps- this is a service that is needed * staff is overwhelmed, all working hard, trying their best * self serve coffee in lobby, restaurant and room not an idulgence but necessity * great option for families

The hotel is very walkable to Regua which made eating at the local restaurants and participating in wine tours easy. The hotel has incredible views.
There was limited warm water and our first floor rooms had a faint odour. The bed mattresses could be better.

Hotel is just ok. Cons: Beds very uncomfortable. Rooms abnormally large and dated. Likely once was a great hotel, but no longer. Limited hot water and a damp smell. Pros: Can’t beat the view! A short walk to some great restaurants.

The hotel is great. We enjoyed very much being there. The staff is very polite and friendly in the reception in the Bar and in the restaurant. They gave us all the information that we needed and assisted us a lot .Beakfast was very very good and the restaurant and the bar were also great. We loved it enjoyed it . We highly recommend this hotel.
