Globales Nova

All in all we had a pleasant stay here. Rooms are spacious & clean. We were on the 4th floor with a view of the road at the front, but that didn't bother us as we are hardly ever in the room. Kitchen area didn't seem the best, but we didn't use it so not a problem. Pool area was nice, plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar served nice snacks. Cleaners quite keen, arrived to clean rooms at 8.30am some mornings, so make sure you put the do not disturb sign out the night before. Hotel is in a good location. Straight out the back to the beach. Bus stop out the back too, which we used to get to Palma a few times. A very short walk into Magaluf if you want that. We went 12th-19th October. Weather was lovely, but the resort was closing down for the season. Would we stay again- most probably yes.

Apartments are clean and we had a beautiful view of the sea. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. We had a great time and although we had no major issues with the apartment, there were a few niggles that dropped the score to a 3. The sofa/sofa beds are really uncomfortable for older kids or adults. They could do with changing these as they don’t look like they have been updated in years. The bathroom door is more like a shower screen. It’s frosted but it doesn’t actually close, it just pushes over like a shower screen. A proper door would be better. We had no air con while we were there but it wasn’t much of an issue as it was October- wouldn’t fancy it in summer. The kitchen is very small and our fridge and microwave looked like it came off the arc. We would probably return but, due to the air con, only out of the main summer season and if the price was right.

As always, never disappointed with our self catering holiday here at the Globales Nova Apts. Beautiful kept apartments and very spacious. Staff always friendly and polite and will always help with any problems etc. Location very good, handy for beach (which you can see if you have Seaview room) from your balcony. Our room this year was on 3rd floor whereas last year we had 5th floor better view but we still had a view of sea so no moans there. We arrived on 01/10/24 and my son and daughter-in-law arrived on 3rd/10/24. They were both amazed by the size of their room, the view and the resort itself and are definitely returning next year, because resort is also a 5/10 min walk to magaluf!! My other daughter-in laws arrived the following Tuesday and equally were amazed at the spacious room, and view, they also wish to return next year. Resort is everything you could wish for, fantastic beach and just over road from apartments, shops, bars etc from frontage of hotel and down the road and equally from the back of hotel and through car park. We venture into Magaluf with the "kids" and went to the three Lions which a great bar and does Karaoke every night, great crowd and fun bar. Back to apartments, maids are really good, clean towels everyday except for Sundays, they are also funny, polite and 5 stars for cleaning! Kitchen basic but you have everything you need to rustle up a snack or English breakfast of a morning. My lot loved it and we are returning next year for another 10 days of enjoyment, and relaxing in the sun. Well done Globales Nova Apartments.

I am here at this apartment just now and have been for almost a week. Just wanted to say how excellent it is. Firstly every member of staff is so friendly and helpful, it is so nice to have people wanting to make sure you enjoy your stay. Apartments are great, others have said dated and yes the kitchen might be older and painted woodchip on the walls but everything is spotless and not damaged. Daily cleaning, fresh towels and bed change if you wish. If you are planning eating in note there is only a microwave and 2 ring job for cooking, this was plenty for us. The bathroom in our room has been updated in marble and is really nice. There is a large balcony, enough for four to sit easily, you either have a sea view or street view and I have to say the sea view is stunning, honestly just perfect all times of the day. The restaurant is open from morning til 6, serves lovely food and is very reasonable there's also plenty around the area to choose from. Location is fantastic, cross the street to the beach, Magaluf and Palmanova a 5 minute walk and a bus top just outside. Outdoor pool was a little cool for us but lovely, well kept and clean. There is also and indoor pool which we have enjoyed and is heated too. Wanted to write this as I was aware of very mixed views when I was booking. Its honestly fantastic and more than I would have expected from a 3 star hotel. See my pictures below from our balcony ❤️

The one redeeming factor of this hotel is it's proximity to the beach, that's about all it's got going for it. - A hot water pipe burst above us, resulting in severe flooding in our room. Despite hotel staff being aware of the situation, the leak persisted for hours. Initially, we were encouraged to remain in the flooded room, despite expressing concerns for our safety (we have a 9 month old) It was eventually agreed that we should be relocated, but this only occurred around 1 a.m. We were moved to a substantially worse room, and while appreciated we had absolutely no help from the staff in moving. Additionally, the hotel's elevators were too small to accommodate our belongings, resulting in multiple trips, some of which had to be made via the stairs. This left my wife and child in either a flooded room or an exposed corridor. The room we moved to also didn't have a crib, so I had to lug that up four flights of stairs, alone. - We had a self catering option. But this amounted to a hot plate and a microwave. Don't expect an oven. The hotel also don't provide washing up liquid. They do provide a sponge, but it is hidden in a nondescript white bag in one of the drawers. It's almost like they don't want you to clean your pots and pans properly. - The pool seating is awkwardly distant from the pool. You're basically all congregated on a driveway that's a short walk to the pool. - We were given a 'requests' option on booking. One of the options was that it was a special occasion, which it was, our honeymoon. The hotel didn't even acknowledge it was our honeymoon. - The TV was broken and didn't turn on at all. - The daily room cleaning amounts to one of the beds being changed (you know how they push two beds together to make a 'double'? For some reason they only wanted to change my side and not my wife's - make of that what you will) and 50% of your used towles being replaced. Don't expect any actual cleaning to occur. - There was a smoke alarm in the bedroom, which whilst I understand is important for safety - do they need to have the type that flash a bright green light every 5 seconds? Not very helpful for sleeping. - The hotel advertised pool entertainment Mon-Fri 10-6. This is probably just during half term only and at no other time of the year, unless they call a yawning lifeguard scrolling social media 'entertainment'. - The pool is freezing and dirty.
