Albatros Apartments by Malibu

We have been to Callao Salvaje on numerous occasions and previously stayed at the same hotel as my husband is a diver and the dive centre is attached to the hotel. However, on our visit last September, through visiting the new Malibu clothes shop, I discovered the amazing apartments belonging to the shop. Hence we immediately booked our holiday for January and have just returned home having spent a super two weeks at the Albatross Apartments. It feels homely and is clean, fresh and modern. The beds are firm and really comfortable and there is plenty of space to put clothes and cases, etc. out of sight. We made good use of the hob and microwave for some easy meals (there are two supermarkets within a minute’s walk) and also enjoyed eating out at some of the local restaurants (again, a very short walk from the accommodation). The balcony has amazing views across to La Gomera and we spent several evenings watching the sun set across the sea right in front of us. Martin was always helpful and ready to recommend restaurants and to give advice on travelling around the island by bus. Roll on our next visit….. Sue Kennard

Fabulous...brilliant...omg they are one of the best apartments i have ever stayed! Beautiful clean spacious sea view apartments.. Everything you need with fab air con & all functions you need. Service is absolutely best we have ever had...thank you!! Pool area amazing & perfectly clean with a little mini bar in reception if u need it!! Also a roof top solarium with gorgeous paranormic views of sea & mount tiede...amazing!! Perfect location with fantastic amenities across road & amazing bars (eden):& restaurants (steak 21, tapas boutique & la ronantica & breakfast across road st Laura's) on your doorstep. We will definitely be back...amazing thank you.

Over the last couple of years of holidaying in Callao Salvaje, I saw this place being renovated and when I visited and stayed at another apartment complex in the village last November (‘23), I saw the finished Albatross apartments and thought, wow I must stay there next time. I didn’t know at that time how beautiful the apartments would be. I opened the door to the apartment and was completely overwhelmed by it. Absolutely beatifully finished. I had a large glass fronted balcony that overlooked the viewpoint area, where I had to drag myself away from each day at some point to go for a walk and feed myself. A perfect view. I ate breakfast on the balcony every morning in the cool and within a couple of hours the sun came round and I just soaked it in. The sunsets viewed from the balcony were stunning. The Apartment was furnished, with good quality furnishings and everything I needed in the kitchenette which was very well equipped. All the staff here were kind and friendly and very welcoming. Martin met me and greeted me on arrival, showed me to my apartment, explained everything. The apartment was kept immaculate, the cleaner was so friendly and efficient. I am a solo traveller and to feel safe, comfortable and not alone should I need help, is very important. I felt secure, comfortable and not alone the whole time. As promised Martin, I will return. Unfortunately I cannot at the moment return until next November - I think, but I can’t wait to stay at the Albatross Apartments again. I was very sad to leave, I had a perfect and wonderful stay.

Over the last couple of years when we saw this place being developed we didn't think for a minute that it would be as good as it is.The building is well contructed and beatifully finished. using high quality materials.They have redeveloped an older building and as a consquence rooms are really spacious,unlike recent new builds.Solid contruction means that internal noise issues are pretty well non existent. Large ,glass fronted balcony areas create even more light,and open feel to the rooms and the aspects mean cool mornings and baking afternoons,perfect.View depending on where you are,are pretty amazing,sunsets beautiful. Apartments are simply furnished,with good quality furnishings and are well equipped. ALL the staff here are kind and polite,and very welcoming,the credit for this is I am sure down to the Manager Martin, who seems to be absolutely everywhere and his standards rule. The place is immaculate,cleaners in evidence pretty much all the time and from the initial enquiry through to reception and then departure the whole experience was slick in a friendly way,faultless and proffesional,but most importantly we felt valued at all times.This is a tough act to follow......

Het op een mooie lokatie gelegen modern appartementencomplex, helemaal nieuw gebouwd met een mooi zwembad. Om de 2 dagen wordt je appartement schoongemaakt en krijg je nieuwe handendoeken. Apartment is compleet, en bij aankomst staat er een flesje wijn. Er is voldoende parkgelegenheid.

I booked a super last minute deal for me and my 4 year old to Albatros by Malibu for a couple of days with the idea of peace and relaxation and this place does not disappoint. We’re only here for 3 days and I’m already sad to be leaving. Not just the hotel but the area around it is so quiet even though there are an abundance of bars and restaurants. The apartments themselves are so clean and spacious. All the mod cons. The smart tv has come in useful for the 4 year old and the coffee pod machine was a nice and welcomed touch. There was a lovely bottle of wine on the table for us getting here and a bottle of water in the fridge. The pool area has amazing views and I’m yet to see more than one or two people down there. This is my first time in Tenerife but if I returned, it’d be to the Albatros By Malibu. There’s a big super market over the road and a very popular bakery about a 3 minute walk. Everything you need on your doorstep for an easy self catering stay. As I booked last minute there were only 2 rooms available and I couldn’t be happier with it. Partial sea views out on the balcony which is huge. Love the wicker chairs, they’re so comfy.
