"Unfortunately my father passed away 3 weeks before to go and they rejected directly to refund us the reservation a cause of the policy of the company. "Chose Callander for a stop travelling south as I remembered it from happy childhood holidays caravanning by the river. Lovely wee town with nice shops, a decent pub (we had a hearty modestly-priced meal in The Crown), and an interesting main street. Ben A’an House is a good option for a night in the town, with spacious rooms and a lovely large and clean bathroom. The host Callum is friendly and attentive and provides a great breakfast. Loved the option to spin some vinyl in the breakfast room - neat idea!"

"You will be warmly welcomed here by Stefano and Francesca.. The twin room was tastefully decorated, the beds and especially the pillows were very comfy, the bathroom fresh and clean with good quality toiletries. However the food is the star here. do choose to have dinner if you can and you will experience delicious authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients such as burrata, Norcia sausage, carefully cooked and beautufully presented. The breakfast buffet is also extensive and the cooked dishes tasty. The trossachs area has plenty of walks at all levels and the scenery is magnificent. No need to go to the Highlands , stop off here!"
