"Honestly, this place felt more like an apartment block than a hotel once we stepped inside. If you're thinking about booking it just for the price difference to stay in Barcelona, be careful—commuting daily can get really tiring. The trains stop around 11 PM and aren't always reliable. We once waited 2 hours just for a 15-minute ride to Blanes, which was super frustrating. The walls are thin, so if you have noisy or snoring neighbors, it'll definitely annoy you at night. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest either, which was disappointing. Staff-wise, I only felt welcomed by the blonde lady at reception. The others were blunt and dry. One big issue: the phone in our room didn't work, so we went down to ask for an iron. They took a few hours to bring it over—by then we were already bored and had left. Also, one night we were super thirsty and the guy at reception charged us 6 euros for two small bottles of water at midnight. If I'd seen the price before paying, I'd have just ordered from Uber. What even? Late at night, the only open restaurant nearby is McDonald's, which adds to the inconvenience. Overall, not worth the hassle unless you're okay with all these downsides."

"Do not stay here. This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I dont mind budget but this was lower than thst. Stains on the bedding. Cigarette burns on the toilet seat that must have been from the 80’s. No bar/food as it was permanently shut, therefore couldn't even get water! and half the hotel was closed. Rooms never cleaned ,no room in the lift. just not nice"

"Olin 5 päivää Ironman viikonloppuna, kun poikani oli kilpailija. Hotelli oli hyvä, hyvä sijainti juuri ranta etupuolella (noin 10-15 min kävely). Huoneita oli tilava ja mukava, mutta hieman väsynyt, ensimmäiset huoneet olivat kauniit, mutta ei pitänyt kylpyhuoneesta. Ruoka oli hyvä, mutta ei paljon vaihtoehtoa lapsille. Uima-allas ja uima-alue olivat hyvä puhdas ja paljon sänkyjä. Järjestäisin taas Kiitos x"

"Great location, close to clubs, bars, town centre and beach all within 5 mins walk. There are 3 night clubs just by the hotel and even I had a room with balcony facing the road, it wasn’t noisy. The rooms are basic but clean and had everything you need. The towels could be replaced as they were very thin and rough. Water from the shower still manage to creep out. The train station was 10 mins walk away and you can get the train straight to Barcelona city in an hour and cost £6. Long stretch of beach but not very clean, also if you wanted to rent a beach lounger it cost €8. The quality of the food at the restaurant I ate at was not great, much better food in Barcelona city and other parts in Spain I’ve been too. Lots of university kids there, lots of Germans too. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice of buffet. Getting the taxi around the area was expensive."

"We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as a family of 9. The location of the hotel from the airport was excellent. The hotel is minutes from the beach and the train station. All the staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our rooms were clean, fresh towels every day. We stayed full board, excellent choice of food, something for everyone, the staff in the restaurant were efficient, friendly and very helpful, the Mexican night was a great addition. Not one item of cutlery or tableware was dirty which is a massive plus. The staff behind the bar were really lovely. The splash pool was great for our little ones and the water polo was great for the big kids. The entertainment catered for everyone. All in all a fantastic family holiday and one to recommend. Thank you to everyone at GHT."

"Just returned from a wonderful week at The Neptuno. We checked in late after the restaurant was closed but had previously emailed to let them know. We expected maybe a sandwich but was treated to a 5 course cold buffet selection served by the fabulous Sunny! Our room was compact but contained everything we needed. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious with fabulous live cooking stations. The only suggestion for improvement here is more vegetarian options please. Every single member of staff went over and above to make our stay absolutely brilliant. Thank you so very much to each and every staff member. We were very sad to leave"

"The location is great for Calella town. The hotel public areas are much nicer than the rooms which are shabby, with small balconies and mouldy bathrooms. Beds are comfy though and great housekeeping service. Staff are good and the food is excellent. The major disappointment for us was the rooftop area with jacuzzi was a key reason for us choosing this hotel as we knew the pool would be too cold in April and we were travelling with our two adult daughters. A pic of the jacuzzi was used on our booking page and every website I looked at mentioned it. Turns out it's closed until Summer!"
Neptuno Apartments
"Meillä oli varattu 2 x studio-asuntoja, mutta sisäänkäynnin yhteydessä järjestelmävirhe oli antanut meille vain 2-vuoteinen huoneisto kauniilla talokerralla. Koska oli myöhäistä yöllä (keskiyön jälkeen) meitä pyydettiin palaamaan seuraavana aamuna. Me teimme tämän ja Barbara oli ehdottomasti fantastista saada tämän lajittelun meille. Kello 2.00 olimme toisessa huoneistossa ja toinen pari pystyi jäämään 2 vuodessa. Molemmat huoneistot olivat suuria ja hyvin varattuja itseruokavaliota varten täydellä jääkaapin jääkaapin, 4 harja-aukon induktioharja, kaikki työkalut, jopa peseminen nestemäinen/bin-pussit/tee pyyhkeet toimitettiin. Ei puhdistusta tarjotaan, mutta pyyhkeet korvattiin 3 päivän kuluttua. Ainoa pieni grippi on parvekkeet ovat hyvin kapea, joten sinun täytyy varmistaa, että tuoli jalka on hyvin tai se voisi päättyä eroon välillä lenkkarin ja lasi parvekkeella. He voivat myös hyötyä pienempi pöytä (kuten ne uima-altaalla), koska tarjottu on liian iso avaruuteen ja et voi päästä sen yli, jos panet sen. Voit käyttää kaikki Neptunon hotellin ja kylpylän tilat, mikä on todella kaunis. Käytimme kattoa yläkerrassa, plus pienemmän takana asunnoissamme. Emme syöneet hotellissa, mutta ruokahuone näytti hyvältä ja käytti hyvin muita vieraita. Meillä oli fantastinen viikollinen uni Neptuno huoneistoissa, koska sänkyt olivat hyvin mukavia Calella itse on löyhkäisy pieni kaupunki, pääasiassa 1 hyvin pitkä kadulla baareja/ravintoloita/kauppoja. Meillä oli onnea, koska se oli paikallista festivali viikkoa ja siellä oli kaikenlaisia paraatit ja tulityötä. Ei voinut vialla huoneistot tai hotelli."

"Wonderful from the minute we got there. Had some issues which led us to missing a day however they reassured us their reception was 24 hours and somebody would always be there. This was true and they were understanding and nice with explaining everything. Received a remote to watch tv if wished. The atmosphere was good and you couldn’t hear anyone or anything in other rooms. Room was decently sized for the price as we had a double bed for 2 people, a closet and a desk with a chair with mirrors on top. The toilet/shower seemed recently renovated so it was good. For the value, the actual hostal and room was a bargain. We received room service every morning when we left and came back to fresh bedsheet, pillowcases and trash taken out. The service was amazing as there was always somebody working at the reception 24/7 and very nice. The hotel is in a good location, from the main calella beach, it was a 5-10 minute walk and to the train station was a 10 minute walk. To town or main city centre was a 10 minute walk also."

"Lukiessani paljon huonoja arvosteluja varauksen jälkeen olin huolissani. Mutta saapuimme ja me olimme vaikuttunut tervetulleen ja huoneen. Moderni ja puhdas. Personal oli kaunis. Olimme aamiaista ja illallinen aamiaista ei ollut niin vaikuttunut illallisella. Olin siellä neljä yötä söimme siellä kaksi kertaa päivälliselle ja menimme kaupungille kaksi yötä. Se on tarpeeksi halpaa meillä ei ole väliä. Hotelli on 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä kaupungista ravintoloita ja ranta lopussa. On jopa keilailu hullu kultapaikka 2 min kävelymatkan päässä. Muut kuin illallinen ja ehkä taistelua saada aurinkoinen sängyt me rakasti hotelli. Tulemme takaisin"

"This hotel was perfect for Ironman, the location and early breakfast on race day was very much appreciated. However, upon our arrival we were greeted by refuges outside the hotel and in the hotel lobby, although they were no harm it felt rather intimidating when being stared at by 20-30 young men. Also, we were unable to use the sun beds at the pool as they were all taken up by the refugees. I would have liked to have been informed of this prior to booking as I would not chose to spend my holiday in a refugee camp. "

"We stayed 2 weeks in this very large and beautiful campsite. Bungalow 21 is well equipped (air conditioning, TV, microwave, large fridge with freezer, small filter coffee maker and everything needed for 5 people). The bedding is very recent with mattress protectors, pillows and clean blankets provided. Sheets are extra! The bungalow is very well maintained, the shower and toilets are very clean, a charcoal barbecue is also included. The swimming pool is large and located high up but fortunately the shuttle called "Gua Gua" goes up and down throughout the season. The sea is located opposite, on the other side of the road. A secure passage takes you there. The reception and all the staff of the campsite are very pleasant and smiling. Thank you for allowing us to have an excellent holiday! See you soon"
