Globales Samoa

La ubicación del hotel es buena solo durante la temporada alta. Fuera de este período, la zona se queda prácticamente desierta, sin tiendas ni lugares para pasear al caer la noche. La presencia frecuente de grandes grupos, como los del IMSERSO, satura los dos únicos ascensores, generando largas esperas (hacen falta 2 ascensores más). Si bien el personal fue eficiente en solucionar las pequeñas averías que surgieron (falta de agua caliente, WC roto, cama rota), estos inconvenientes restaron comodidad a la estancia.

Overall an average 3 star hotel. As previous reviews have said, very much geared up towards French/german visitors. The room is pretty basic, please note no tea/coffee facilities or fridge. I believe these can be hired. This was a shame as the previous Globales (Mediterrani - Menorca) we stayed in have had these as standard. The food was not the best, breakfast was the best meal of the day. We ate out more than once just to get a good meal. Kids might struggle with the lack of choice unless they want stews and fish every day. The lift situation was definitely problematic. Only one working lift and very long waits to use. The hotel was busy even though it was October. We were on the 5th floor with great views of the sea, pools, mountains. Plenty of sun beds. It’s very well kept and very clean. The staff are friendly, cleaners do a great job. You can basically choose as and when you want clean towels and sheets. A great idea to be better for the environment. All inclusive drinks were absolutely fine. Plenty of choice. The location is good, close to shops and bars etc. Short walk to the beach and nice walks in the area. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. Lots of steps. Overall a nice holiday and a much needed break!

Been to this hotel back in 2019. This hotel is kept spotless every day all the staff work very hard from the cleaners to the chefs and bar staff. The food was good in the first week then in the second week it changed they seem to repeat some of the dishes from dinner time to the evening meals. My room was nice a view of the shops and u could see the sea in the background I had fresh towels every day and the bed was made and room cleaned. Downside was the French entertainment team the activities in day time they use to walk past people from the Uk. Evening entertainment was hit or miss when I was here back in 2019 the entertainment was alot better a different entertainment team back then. The area is nice with shops and restaurants just across the road from the hotel. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel where u can do boat trips. Would I return to this hotel yes I would but go a week earlier so not so near the end of season I've also been to the globales America hotel which is down the road another nice hotel right on the seafront. I travelled with Jet2 which kept me upto date with coach pick up times from airport and the journey back to the airport also the hotel had a Jet2 rep for any problems or to book trips

1. De medewerkers bij de receptie vond ik erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk 2. Een compliment naar de medewerkers in het restaurant en de bar moet gemaakt worden, zeker in het restaurant werd elke dag voor 500+ hotelgasten een smakelijke en gevarieerde ontbijt, lunch en diner aangeboden waarbij ik dacht dat het gewoon iedere dag een 3 gangen menu zou zijn zonder veel keuze.....maar dat was niet zo, er was 3x per dag een buffet met bijzonder veel keuze met kwalitatief smakelijk en lekker eten. 3. De kamers waren basic, maar waren schoon en boden mij wat ik nodig had voor een relaxed verblijf van 2 weken. 4. De kamer mag van mij wel wat betere geluidsisolatie bieden, het nachtleven van het stadje/dorp Calas de Mallorca was met de deur dicht te duidelijk hoorbaar.....maar hield wel om 00:00 op. 5. Ik miste wel een comfortabele stoel op mijn kamer 6. Het WiFi signaal was niet sterk genoeg, een unlimited abonnement bij een goede provider en een telefoon die kan theteren (omzetbaar in mobiele modem) is zeker raadzaam 7. Het transport van hotelgasten haperde, er was maar 1 lift in werking van de 2 die er zijn, dat is 2 weken zo geweest en dat duurde te lang, dat moet in enkele dagen op te lossen zijn, positief punt was wel dat je met andere wachtende hotelgasten in contact kwam. 8. Je moet een wandelaar zijn om aan het strand te gaan liggen want het is wel een wandeling van minimaal 500m........maar dan heb je wel een prachtige setting met stevige branding en indrukwekkende rotsformaties, ik zou zeker aanbevelen er naartoe te gaan.

Very very basic, no toiletries or tea making facilities or fridge in room. 6 week prior to booking one lift out of two was broken,lift still broken on arrival and week later departing.staff friendly. Snack bar only place worth going to. Entertainment not good
