Sentido Fido Tucan - Beach Hotel

We just had a lovely holiday at this hotel, we have been to Cala D'or many times, but have never done AI at this hotel before. I am going to start on a negative, on check in there seemed to be a quick chat in the office at the back, then we were given our room details and key card. When we got in our room I was upset to see it was so small, very very small, a single wardrobe, one balcony chair, and one set of towels, also a very small double bed, that did not fit two pillows across in width. My husband went to reception to ask about this and very quickly an extra chair and set of towels were brought up to us. Also some plug sockets were not working. We knew this was not the room we had booked. When sat on the toilet your feet were almost in the shower base! After an upset night we went to reception the next morning and told them that they had clearly put us in a single occupancy room, knowingly, very naughty of them and not a very good start to our hols. They did put this right within a couple of hours and we were given a double room, which we had paid for. We also arrived back to find an apology card and a bottle of fizz, I had told the Jet2 rep, so this is probably why we got this. But, the next day, the fizz had gone from our room, we had not drank it that day, and had emptied the bucket of the melted ice water, leaving it in the bucket, but the whole lot was gone! we decided to just draw a line under all of that. On to the positives, which are we had a lovely time after that, the hotel is spotless, the food is lovely with plenty of choice, having lunch poolside was great with great choices also. The staff, everywhere, at meal times, in the bar, the domestic staff, all of them were so very nice, friendly, happy and worked so hard, they are a credit to the hotel. Getting a sunbed everyday was easy, no rush, always available at all times of day. The evening entertainment was actually very good, for around an hour or so every night it was a nice atmosphere. Poolside in the day was a bit loud at times, music maybe a bit loud, and one day there was a 2 hour DJ set of thumping club music, which was a bit over the top and the pool area soon cleared of many people as it was not in keeping with a lot of older people like us! We did have a lovely week of relaxing and seeing places we knew, and we would stay here again if we ever came back, adult only is great! The weather was hot and sunny too. Apart from the bad start, this is a nice hotel and if you stay here you will have a lovely holiday , great location, fabulous staff, good food.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable the staff where exceptional so friendly and nothing was to much for them Food was great especially the snack bar There is nothing I can complain about will definitely be returning

This hotel and staff is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Staff are so nice and can't do enough to make your holiday comfortable. We stayed all-inclusive. Breakfast omelets are good. And the chicken kebabs are amazing. 4 poster pool beds are really comfortable. But 23 euro a day. Had to hire few times as sunbeds are hard. Great location. Close to everything. Beach. Bars shops and restaurants. Entertainment is good. But short. will definitely be back.

Currently on our last full day😫 absolutely fantastic hotel … have been coming to Calador every year and never stayed in adults only…well what a fabulous hotel this is staff amazing work tirelessly…. Rooms lovely with brilliant shower.. beds very comfy…. No sunbed wars which is great. Hotel on doorstep of beach and all the fantastic restaurants we love and have been going to for many years… pool beautiful and the Bali beds very comfy… will 100% be back to this hotel thankyou so much Sentido Tucan for our amazing stay don’t want to go home 😦

Excellent hotel, avec une très bonne équipe. Chambre confortable et on mange très bien. Petit déjeuner et dîner delicieux. C' est la deuxième fois que nous venons et c' est toujours un plaisir. Je recommande cet hôtel qui est à côté du petit village de Cala d' Or.

What an amazing hotel. All staff work hard and are so friendly. Maria, the entertainment lady, was lovely. So much energy in all that heat. Very funny and just lovely. Will definitely go back. Best holiday I've ever had. I have nothing negative to say.
